Tamilnadu Fisheries Minister Jayakumar stated that the government doesn’t support drinking alcohol and it is the alcohol addicts, who have to quit drinking. Suicide is not a solution at all, says Jayakumar. Jayakumar also stated that if there is no TASMAC then the fake liquor sale will increase and the alcohol deaths will also increase. To stop the illegal alcohol supply from other states, the government has been running the TASMAC, says D Jayakumar. But, the government has been taking initiatives to stop the TASMAC bars, stated Jayakumar. When will the government shut these TASMAC bars that have been a great hurdle in the lives of the Tamilnadu people, ask the public?
