Mohamaad Ghibran, who is among the popular younger generation musicians, revealed a truth that he had a thought of committing a mass suicide with his family, once. Ghibran was financially weak in his past. He says, "We were doing well off until my father’s hotel was doing good business. After the business had fallen ill, we were in debts. My dad was very depressed and we even thought of committing mass suicide. But, we didn't take that extreme step by God’s grace. My dad sold our entire property and cleared the debts. We came to Chennai without a single penny. I discontinued my studies after 10th class. I worked as a medical representative and even worked in a lottery shop to pay the fees of my music classes in Trinity College. Then, I started to take music classes to earn the amount needed to develop my musical knowledge. I started my musical journey with advertisements and now I could find a place for myself in the film industry."
