Due to the plant, there is pollution to the atmosphere and the water level is being affected. The people in the district are protesting against that. The management decided to expand the plant. It has begun the first level schedules. The commoners in the area are protesting against the move. The villagers are reminding that their routine life will be affected because of the plant.

He tweeted his opinion in Twitter. He said that it is essential to partipcate in the strike. I am among the people of Tuticorin. If there is protest I will be among the masses, said Kamal Haasan.
