' starring Sasikumar and Varalakshmi is marked as Ilaiyaraaja's biggest benchmark; he is completing 1000th film as a music director.
To celebrate this criterion, Thaarai Thappattai audio release was planned to happen on December 17th in a grand manner. However, the plans were upset by Chennai Flood, and the date has been postponed. Now the event is reportedly happening on December 25th in a very simple manner. Unlike their earlier plans. Meantime the legendary composer is currently working on background score of the film. We are expecting an official announcement on audio launch in next couple of days.
Thaarai Thappattai, a film on Tamil Nadu's traditional folk art is confirmed for release in Pongal 2016.
