IT raid was held in nearly 35 places across Tamilnadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The top celebrities including Vijay, Samantha, Nayantara, Chimbudeven and Kalaipuli Thanu’s properties were raided by the IT department. A senior officer in the IT department revealed the truth that Vijay and his Co stars Nayantara and Samantha are being involved in the tax evasion. He also said that, they are the regular tax payers; but they have not paid the tax for their complete income. It is also heard that Vijay has not paid the complete amount of tax for the past five years. A total amount of Rs. 25 Crores is evaded by Vijay, Samantha and Nayanthara, says the senior officer. It is also heard that Nayanthara and Samantha had an anonymous account of gold worth Rs. 2 Crores and hot cash worth Rs. 2 Crores
