Marina Beach, the Second Longest Beach in the world has been in the headlines for some reasons right from the Jallikattu protest. After the protest by lakhs of people in the Marina Beach, the government had banned the meetings at the beach. Even if a group of youngsters gathers on the beach, just to spend their time together, the cops warn them and send them out. So, people hesitate to go to the beach, now. The latest information is that the government is said to have received a complaint that the people, who go on for a walk at the Marina Beach Service road are being disturbed by the vehicles. So, the government has banned the vehicles from entering the road between 5 am t0 8 am. As it is for the welfare of the walkers, there is a banner tied “Walkers’ Area” at the beach.
