. The movie was titled Sridevi, but for reasons better known to the director, the schedules were suspended. The actress did the role of a middle-aged woman who seduces a youngster. After that, the actress signed up for a low budget movie Papa.
The movie’s director Yogi went for a complaint with the police that the actress quit the movie halfway through. It seems that the actress did not desire to do the movie since there are lewd remarks and obscenity in the movie. Also, the actress demanded that the footage shot so far should be returned, and only then she would pay back the remuneration amount.
The decision by Anukriti has caused shock among the director and the producer. The movie’s director had said that he had related the full script long before the actress took up the venture.
