Ever since its release, ‘Tillu Square’ is gaining new followers with each passing day.
The latest is none other than Jr. NTR, who was a part of its success meet. He opened up on his experience of watching this film, and how tough was it for him to control his laughter.
However, he didn’t just stop at that. He also mentioned that with actors like Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen, Telugu industry need not worry. According to NTR Jr., the two actors have the capacity to take Telugu cinema to the next level.
NTR Jr. didn’t say this for nothing. When Telugu cinema was threatened by another ‘drought’, Vishwak Sen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda took it upon themselves to save the reputation. While Vishwak Sen’s ‘Gaami’ was not kindly received by critics, its innovative concept impressed the audiences, giving another commercial success to Vishwak Sen.
However, it was Siddhu who surprised one and all with ‘Tillu Square’. The movie was a sequel to ‘DJ Tillu’, and starred Siddhu and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. Contrary to expectations, the film not only rocked the box office, but also earned a whopping 100 crores worldwide compared to a rather low budget of 20 crores.
