However, the vernacular versions for other languages hadn’t been released yet, and after another round of multiple requests, Disney + Hotstar finally accepted.
Made on a low budget of Rs. 20 crores, the film earned almost Rs. 70 crores worldwide, making it a sleeper hit. The film acquired a cult following through social media, and after multiple requests, it received a grand OTT release on 29 December. The film also received multiple awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor [Critics] for Vikrant Massey.
