English Movie Review Atlas Shrugged: Part I - Cast & Crew

Edi Gathegi is an American, Kenyan actor. He was born as Edi Mue Gathegi in Eastlands, Nairobi (capital of Kenya). His father, Dr. John N’ Gathegi, was a professor at the University of South Florida. John had complete Ph.D. and JD at Berkeley from the University of California. He has two siblings, one brother, and one sister. When he was young, his family relocated from Nairobi to California. He was brought up in Albany city in California in the Unites States. He was an undergraduate (undisclosed) at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He was more of an athletic kind and was interested in basketball. He played well, but once injured his knee during the training session. This mishap pushed him into depression. To make his work easier, he took the acting class course. It was at that time that he unearthed his love for the art. Next, he enrolled at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University’s Graduate Acting Program. He graduated in 2005.
