Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates is a romantic movie. Along with being a romantic film, it is an adventurous one too, where two brothers need dates for themselves in their sister’s wedding.

Plot: There are two brothers (party animals mainly) named as Mike and Dave respectively. Their parents already know that both of them always had created some nuisance in all their family functions. To avoid this in their daughter’s wedding which is going to take place in Hawaii, they ask both their sons to get dates for themselves to Hawaii. Dave and Mike feature of a show to get themselves promoted.

Two girls named Tatiana and Alice catch off the attention of this. Both of them go to Hawaii to attend the wedding of their sister with the two girls. But there both of them discover that these girls are wilder than they expected. What happens next is a shock for all the people attending the wedding. Whether they will be able to control the duo?

Analysis: The movie has been directed by Jake Szymanski, and he has tried every hook and corner to make this film an interesting and fun loving picture. The shooting of the flick took place at various sites including Hawaii. The cinematography by Matthew Clark is like an icing on the cake.

Their acting is terrific and entertains the audience thoroughly. It was their acting that made the viewers stick to their seats and made them watch till the end with all those comic packed scenes.

What’s there?

1. The powerful acting by the star cast will leave you mesmerized.

2. It shows the relationship between the two brothers.

3. Music has added luster to the flick.

What’s no there?

1. Sometimes it feels that they are beating around the bush.

2. It does not have any lesson to be learned from this film.

3. The script could have been written more nicely with proper sketching of the characters.

4. The crew has tried to add more humorous scenes in the script but have failed to do so at many places and instead of hilarious scenes it becomes bit irritating.

Verdict: It is a fun loving movie. It is a total time pass thus can be watched once.
