PLOT:

This story is about an architect. He moves into a new house with his wife Namrata and two children Taman and Nimmi. While reconstructing the house, Nimmi found a doll and she always included a name called as Shabbu in all her activities. Everyone in the house thought she called her doll Shabbu, but they were scared when she pointed to a space resembling Shabbu. Her parents thought that it was her imagination about her new friend.

Soon after that Tarun’s younger sister Pooja gives a pleasant surprise to everyone by a visit. Tarun and Namrata narrates what was happening in the house about Nimmi’s obsession for Shabbu. But the servant, Laxman, was sure that there is a spirit in the house. The nights got worsen soon, banging of the doors, demonic activities carried out scaring everyone in the house. Tarun thought it might be Laxman to prove his points. Tarun decides to visit a psychiatrist for Nimmi.

Doctor said that Nimmi is doing this for grabbing attention as normally teenagers do because they are lonely. But growing disturbed activities couldn't be neglected. . Because of this reason Pooja decided to install some hidden cameras in the house to capture who is the culprit behind these scary moves. What they found was Nimmi playing with some invisible object calling him Shabbu. On this note, Tarun decides its high time to leave the house.

But very next morning, Nimmi was found missing, and the servant was found murdered. Even Taman was brutally killed. After this, the spirit takes the possession in Nimmi and tries to kill her parents, and she introduced herself as Shabbu to all the neighbors. The remaining family flees injured.

ANALYSIS:

This movie received so many negative reviews. There was some nail-biting moments to scare but still couldn't grab viewers attention. At a point, 3D effects were also used. The ending was abrupt as could have been more interesting. The cinematography was not at all convincing for a viewer.

The story was so easy to guess that what can happen in next moment. Varma disappointed the audience after this movie. The technical staff on their role has done a great work. 3D effects worked for horror scenes and the sound effects as well. The cast also performed well, but the script bought them down.

STAR PERFORMANCES:

J. D. Chakravarthy had an appreciating performance. On the contrary, Manisha Koirala hates horror movies, still she signed this movie, her performance was in a calm way, which didn't look good. Alayana Sharma being a little kid was perfect for this role, and even Kushank Thacker, these talented young kids performed so well. Madhu Shalini calmly performed so well that all the potential was seen. Nitin Jadhav Bio coming soon... >> Read More... as Laxman, he didn't had much to perform, but whatever he had to do, he worked hard for that.

WHAT’S THERE:

1.) 3D effects enhanced the movie with the audio effects.

2.) Visualization and cinematography together gave fruitful results.

WHAT’S NOT THERE:

1.) Ram Gopal Varma's previous films were better than this because this movie didn't have a versatile script.

2.) Even the songs didn't get any response from the viewers.

VERDICT:

This movie was complete waste of time, as it didn't have any story to show.
