Plot

A 19-year-old girl Malti had been acid-attacked by her family friend Bashir Khan Bashir Khan is a legendary Indian television and f >> Read More... . Although the acid attack left her with the scars, Malti faces the life boldly and searches a job for her. Malti dreams to work for the NGO of acid victims like her. In a particular stage, her father passes away and her family couldn’t support her. Her advocate Archana helps Malti to continue her dream. Amol, a guy, who doesn’t care for the exterior looks support Malti for her inner beauty. What happens next? Did Amol and Malti unite in life? Star Performance

Deepika Padukone has played her part extremely well. Madhurjeet and Vikrant did their part neatly.

Analysis

The screenplay is pretty good and the execution is neat. The characterization receives appreciation. Although Malti broke into pieces after the acid attack and loses her face identity, she had never felt self-pity. That’s the strength of her character. The transformation to a heart-strong girl is beautifully shown and Deepika excelled in it. The music composition is by Shankar and team is excellent. The BGM gels well with the script and impresses. The cinematography and editing are good at their end.
