This chubby star of Bollywood had a different style of acting. Nevertheless it was appreciated to an extent. Pooja Bhatt, daughter of famous director Mahesh Bhatt, gave up her dream of becoming an astronaut, to take up a career in acting.

Pooja Bhatt debuted in her father’s directorial venture Daddy, when she was just a teen. It was a typical Bhatt film and revolved around a girl trying to alleviate her father from the clutches of alcohol. Later, this duo offered ‘Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahin’ where Aamir Khan played the male lead. This film was an adaptation of yesteryear Raj Kapoor hit Chori Chori and Hollywood film ‘It Happened One Night’. Pooja played the role of an arrogant girl of a millionaire in the film. She runs away from her home in the dream of marrying a not-so-good person. Eventually she gets trapped in love with a poor journalist. The film was a success at the box office. Pooja has worked for over 10 years in films. She was a bold actress during her time. With her personal life gaining the attention of magazines, her acting profession also sustained with the help of her father. She worked in some regional films too. At one point of time Pooja delivered a string of flops. With this, she ventured into production in 1996, and the film was Tamanna.

Pooja became a full-fledged producer and her venture, Dushman, starring Kajol in two roles, was a hit during 1998. The third production venture of Pooja was Zakhm. This was her father’s direction and it was a take on the latter’s personal life. Pooja played with excellence, the role of her real life grandmother. Pooja won National Award for Tamanna and Nargis Dutt Award for Zakhm. Pooja had directed over four films.

Mona Laizza Hussain more prominently known as Sara Loren is a Pakistani actor and a model by profession. Career Mona aka Sara debuted in Pooja Bhatt's film Kajraare opposite Himesh Reshammiya. Unfortunately, this feature could not gain much popularity. Later in 2013, she acted in the movie Murder-3 where she played the role of a seductive girl Nisha.

She is a known face of India TV and has gracefully appeared in numerous Indian Daily Soaps. She was born on 8th December and she resides in Mumbai with her family. Her father is singer and composer Ajit Singh and her mother is numerologist She is best known for her role Kirti in serial ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ where she played the role of a talkative, cheerful, emotional offspring of Farida Jalal and Navin Nischol. The plot of the serial is based upon the story of three generations of an Indian family. It was a popular show of Doordarshan. Apart from that she also appeared in ‘Milan’, ‘Oh Daddy!’, ‘Angaan’ and ‘Saat Phere’. ‘Angaan’ and ‘Oh Daddy!’ were telecasted in Zee TV and Milan was a Sony TV show. She took her first step towards Bollywood Industry through film ‘Mission 11 July’ that hit on the box office in the year 2010. She finely portrayed the role of the female protagonist Raavi, who in spite of having deep affection and love for her boyfriend refused to be supportive to him as he chooses the path of terrorism. This film was produced by JMJ Productions house. This movie did not turn out to be successful in the box office but the audiences were quite impressed of Nattasha. Even she herself was satisfied by the role of the movie; as it gave her the scope of do something new and not alike the roles of the serials.

Of late there have been quite a few Pakistani actresses who have made their entry into Bollywood, but unfortunately most of them have not made any significant mark as far as histrionics is concerned. They have mostly been seen in intimate and steamy scenes or shaking a leg in item numbers. Sara Loren, the Pakistani actress also falls in the same genre with her bold looks and eye catching figure. She has had to make a series of shifts to come to the stage in her career that she now is in. Having been born in Kuwait to Pakistani parents, she was actually christened Mona at the time of her birth. Her first shift was back to native Pakistan at the time her father died in 2001, when she was still a teenager. Although her interests lay in painting and writing poetry, she was keen to take up a career in acting once she was back in Pakistan. 

Her acting career, however, did not come just like that. She was lucky to have been spotted by a photographer who was actually taking photo shoots for her friend, when he noticed her and took some snaps of her which actually landed her with her first modeling job for an ad campaign. This ultimately paved her way for her first Pakistani acting assignment in the serial “Rabia Zinda Rahegi”. That was in the year 2003 when she was 18. Thereafter, for some years she visited various countries with a Pakistani drama troupe, performing in dramas. But it was not until 2010 that she got her break into Bollywood, which was her dream for a long time. It was at this time that she took over the more trendy name of Sara Loren, perhaps to give it a more international tinge and concealing the Pakistani link. 

It was Pooja Bhatt who was instrumental in giving her this break, directing her in the film “Kajrare” with music director cum actor Himesh Reshmaiyya and Amrita Singh. Her other Bollywood appearance was in the more recent Murder 3, where she played the role of a waitress, alongside Randeep Hooda. In the intervening periods she was also keeping herself busy acting in Pakistani films, most notable of which have been “Saltanat”, “Gidh” and “Love Mein Ghum”

Bhushan Kumar was born on 27 November in 1977 in Delhi in India. He is a film and music producer for many films in Indian Film Industry. He is mainly known for Hindi films. He is also the MD of the T-Series Music Production. His parents are Sudesh Kumari and Gulshan Kumar, who is the founder of T-Series. He was married to Divya Kumar in Katra. They were married in 2005. They are blessed with a boy whom they named Ruhaan.

Himesh Reshammiya is known for his singing skills and as a music composer; he has gained a reputation; however, his career started with the television industry and television became the platform of his rise. He started his career as a music composer, screenplay writer and story writer for various television series’ which were telecasted on Zee TV. Among the popular television series for which Himesh Reshammiya wrote stories and composed music Dum Dama Dum, Amar Prem, Andaz, Ashiqui, and Jaan were very popular serials. In addition to it, he was also the producer of many television serials including Amar Prem and Andaz.

Gradually, he started getting success as a music composer for Bollywood projects and after that he also started singing, producing and acting in Bollywood movies. However, his connection with Indian Hindi television remained intact. After establishing himself as a successful singer and music composer in Bollywood, he began working as a judge and mentor for musical competitive television program Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 on Zee TV. As a mentor he won the show as his Gharana or group named Rock Gharana won the show challenge. Javed Sheikh is one of Pakistan’s actor, producer, and director, who also acts in Bollywood. Javed Sheikh was born in Rawalpindi on 8th October 1954 to a Pakistani family. He started his film career in 1974, with a Lollywood film Dhamaka. Since then, he featured in many Pakistani films, like Kalay Chor, Daku Raaj, Zamana, among others. Javed Sheikh has ventured in many different forms of acting and films, not limiting himself to just Pakistani films and big screen.

Gaurav Chanana or Rhehan Malliek is an Indian TV actor, model and a Bollywood actor. He is 32 year old actor born in New Delhi, India. He started his career as an Assistant Director also known as Second Unit Director for Ittefaq in 2001. His television career got an accelerated start because of his appearance as Dr. Rahul Mehra in Sanjivani-A Medical Boon. It was a popular Hindi series featured initially on Star Plus in 2004 and it was again re-launched on TV Asia channel in the USA in 2007. He acted as the main lead in the show opposite to Dr. Juhi Parmar. Sanjivani displayed a story of four medical interns in general including the two leads and Simaran and Omi. Anupam Shyam is an Indian movie and TV actor, born on Sep 20, 1957 as Anupam Shyam Ojha. Anupam is the son of the late, Sh. Radheshyam Ojha. Anupam originally came from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. He studied in Ram Manhor Lohaia University in Faizabad and graduated in Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lucknow in 1983 to 1985. He also went to National School of Drama Reportory Com. Associated in 1987 to 1994.

He created an NGO for needy students for their outstanding education. He is also a supporter of the Indian social activist, Anna Hazare in 2010. Anupam also works with some NGO for destroying the corruption in India. Anupam also got the STAR Parivaar Awards, Indian Television Academy Awards, The Global Indian Film and Television Honours and a lot more. He was the Brand Ambassador of Cittrec Canadian Education society.

Krishan Kumar is an Indian film actor and a producer. He is well known for the movie ‘Bewafa Sanam’ in 1995. He owns one of the largest music company, T-series.
