Hindi Movie Review Wazir - Cast & Crew

As her title may be suggesting, Aditi the talented and versatile actress origins from Hyderabad. But her introduction should not end up just there. On the side of performing arts, she is a trained classical dancer, specializing in Bharata natyam, while in respect of family lineage she comes from the confluence of two distinct blue blooded families of the South - that of Akbar Hydari former Prime Minister of Hyderabad on one hand and from the Wanaparthy royal family on the other. Her family also had a distinctly accomplished educational background and she herself also did complete her graduation before entry into films.

Bejoy Nambiar was born on April 12th, 1979 in Kochi, India. He is a screenwriter, a story writer, and a director who is mostly known for his short films, "Reflections" and "Rahu." In 2007, he was married to Juhi Babbar, an Indian film and television actress, although they, unfortunately, divorced after two years. Cheating and forgery were claimed to be the cause of the divorce. Also, Babbar stated that for Nambiar, work seemed more important than marriage.

Nambiar began his career as a director with his first Malayalam short film, "Reflections", in 2005. The film was written and produced by him too. Also, he directed another short film, "Rahu," in 2008. 

He continued his career as a director, and he directed a Hindi thriller film, "Shaitan," which marked his first debut in 2011. Nambiar claimed that he had a different point of view since he wanted to shoot the film at unusual places and refused to shoot it at common locations. Also, he worked on a bilingual gangster comedy film, "David", in 2013, which became his second feature film. He directed the film himself wrote and produced it with the help of Natasha Sahgal and Sharada Trilok. An alternate version of "David" was also directed by himself, which featured a different cast and was shot in Tamil. He was also a member of the jury for India Film Project during the same year. In 2014, Nambiar produced "Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi" and "Pizza", a Hindi comedy, romance, and drama film, and a supernatural thriller film.

This year, he is currently filming Wazir, a Hindi drama which will be released in December. Although he was mostly the writer, director, and producer for the previous films, now he is taking part as a director only.

Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, India. Bachchan's father was a prestigious Hindi poet Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh socialite. Being his parents’ first born, he has a junior male sibling resembling to his name Ajitabh. Bachchan went to Sherwood College before enlisting in Delhi University to complete his B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree. He became a cargo dealer in Calcutta after completing his graduation. Amitabh Bachchan married to Jaya Bhaduri and has one son named Abhishek and one daughter named Shweta. Bachchan's father passed on in 2003 and his mother in 2007.

In 1969, Bachchan made his film debut in Saat Hindustani a film administered by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas which won him the National Film Award for Best Newcomer. By the early 1970s, Bachchan had collected fame in crowds as the "Angry Young Man" in an arrangement of successful Hindi gimmick movies. His featuring part in Zanjeer was especially instrumental in propelling him to fame as an action-movie film legend. Amitabh didn’t stopped gaining fame and popularity and soon he delivered another successful movie Anand in 1971. Anand was followed by movies like Reshma Aur Shera and Parwana in the same year.

Being family friend with Rajiv Gandhi, he got an opportunity to choose to run for seat in the Congress from the place where he grew up. He challenged Allahabad's seat of eighth Lok Sabha against H. N. Bahuguna, previous Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and won by one of the highest victory margins in history (68.2% of the vote). His political life, on the other hand, was fleeting in view of debates especially after Rajiv and he were embroiled in the now scandalous "Bofors" case alongside the U.K. based Hinduja Brothers.

In 1997, Bachchan endeavored to make his acting comeback with the film Mrityudata, produced by ABCL. However, the film was a disappointment both fiscally and basically. His vocation was spared with a successful film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998)”. In 2000, Bachchan facilitated the first season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)”. Likewise in that year Amitabh Bachchan showed up in Yash Chopra's film industry hit “Mohabbatein” directed by Aditya Chopra. Different hits emulated, with Bachchan showing up as a more established family patriarch in Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love (2001), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and Baghban (2003). Bachchan is also well known for his profound, baritone voice. He has been a storyteller, a playback artist, and moderator for various projects.

Despite a couple of film industry disappointments in the 1990s and the 2000s ruined his career yet, Bachchan climbed his way back up to as a topnotch Bollywood actor, gaining Filmfare and International Film Awards for his work on movies like Baghban (2003), Khakee (2004) and Paa (2009). His hard work guaranteed his prosperity and now he is known as the "King of Bollywood".

One of the most recognized young director of Indian cinema. In fact, he is the most versatile person in the industry as of now. He is Farhan Akhtar, a film director, actor, singer, writer, producer, screenwriter everything you name it, he has it. Son of the famous writer Javed Akhtar & actress Honey Irani was born on 09 Jan, 1974 in Mumbai. 

As he was growing, he found the film industry around him. At home, the atmosphere of arts, literature influenced him to become creative man. He did his schooling from Maneckji Cooper & Graduated from HR College, Mumbai. After then, he started his career in films, first as assistant director & then director. His first directorial debut was Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 which received critical acclaim as well as commercial success. After then he did not see back & made other movies like Lakshya in 2004, Don in 2006, Rock On in 2008. He got two national awards, one for Dil Chahta Hai & another for Rock On for direction & production subsequently. 

He portrayed the character Milkha Singh, in the year 2013 in his biographical feature film, for which he got positive reviews as an actor & it, is his best performance yet, which also earned him Filmfare Award for Best Actor. He considers Robert Di Niro as his inspiration for his life & career & respects his parents for the heritage he got & continues to do better work. He has a production company named Excel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. established with Ritesh Sidhwani. 

He directed a 12 min short film named Positive, 2007 based on HIV-AIDS, to create awareness about the problem. He did sing for Rock On which showed his versatility. He has also launched a social campaign named MARD – Men against Rape & Discrimination.

Binod Pradhan was born in Darjeeling, West Bengal. He is a Cinematographer by profession and has worked in both Indian and Nepali movies. He has the citizenship of both the countries. His father H.K. Pradhan owned a photo studio. He gave Binod his first box camera and he was fascinated with it. Binod used to capture black and white pictures and used to color them later using water colors. Soon, his father caught him and was amazed at his work. He displayed his work outside the studio. Seeing his interest, he soon rolled up working in the studio and later he started managing his father’s studio. Binod wanted to sharpen his talent, but this could never be possible in Darjeeling since there is no proper institute to train him.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra is a classic filmmaker, who has given Indian audiences films like Parineeta, Munnabhai MBBS, 3-Idiots, PK and 1942-A Love Story. What distinguished him from other film maker was that, he always wanted to experiment cinema. Both in terms of his script and in terms of mise-en-scene, character development and pace of the film, we believe that most of his films were very successful in box-office. As an FTII student, he always wanted to learn by making his films; he selected films therefore like an intensive program. He has a reputation for being completely demanding during production and his moody, temperamental and control freaks always made him the perfect filmmaker before and behind the camera.

Sanu Varghese is a cinematographer in India, who has worked in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films. He debuted as a cinematographer in the Hindi movie Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon in 2003, before which he worked as a technician in DD News. He also independently produced commercials and documentaries. Since then he has worked in movies such as David (2013), Cheekati Rajyam (2015), and Wazir (2016). His previous works also include Karthik Calling Karthik (Tamil) and Elektra (Malayalam). He made a critically-acclaimed breakthrough for his work in Kamal Haasan’s spy thriller, Vishwaroopam (2013). Sanu John Varghese was born in Kottayam, Kerala and attended MD Seminary High School. He did his BFA, Applied Arts from Trivandrum College of Art. Sanu discovered his natural flair for trained visual eye and developed a passionate interest in photography.
