Star Performances

Kiran Raj as Aakash has done a terrific job in the lead role. He has perfectly portrayed the role of a savior in the movie. Yasha is beautiful in the role of Aakash’s love interest and is perfect in the frame. Rakesh as Rakhi is fantastic in his antagonist role. Surekha Venkatesh, Ramesh Bhat, Nagesh Rohit and Veena Sundar are brilliant in supporting roles and fit well with each other. All the actors have amazing chemistry with each other.

Plot

The movie starts with a village scene with acute water shortage. The villagers believe that some divine power will save them from this problem. Upon being instructed by Guruji, the villagers believe in age-old traditions so that they get saved from being out of water. Akash comes from city to village. He is an urban man with traditional core values. He earns respect and love from the villagers because of his prudent decision-making and wit. He is named Bharjari Gandu of the village. In the story, he meets Jyoti, whom he falls in love with. The movie then revolves around a college and showcases the love story of Akash and Jyoti. The movie then revolves around if the villagers are can solve the problem of water scarcity? What is the reason behind Jyoti’s fear and how does she overcome it?

Analysis

The movie is made in the old orthodox typical direction. It depicts the age-old traditions and values of the community creatively. The movie still feels bland and has nothing new to offer. The audience may feel bored because of its theme and depiction. The hero has been typically shown to be the savior and the movie ends with the hero winning. The movie leaves many questions unanswered. There were multiple themes and characters in the beginning of the first half, but they are left unresolved and abrupt in the end of the movie. The movie feels boring and abrupt because of its sudden theme switch and lack of clarity.

What's There?

It is a simple and orthodox movie story that is easy for the audience to grasp and enjoy.
Few action sequences and drama acts are well crafted and intriguing to watch.
Funny and sly humor and dialogue writing.

What's Not There?

Lack of conclusion of the story. Many characters and themes feel left out and abrupt.
Lack of exciting and new action sequences. They feel old and repetitive.

Verdict

The movie can be a good watch for people who love action genres. The movie has a fun and simple story line and can be leisurely watched. The film has nothing else to offer and may disappoint if the viewers are looking for a good storyline.
