He made his debut through a Kannada film “Haage Summane” in 2008. It was directed by Preetham Gubbi. Kiran shared the screen with Suhasi Dhami, Pooja Gandhi, Chandrashekhar, Sharath Babu, etc. He played the lead role of “Preetham” with ease. It was dubbed into Telugu as Manasu Pilichindi. He also acted in a short film “What's on Your Mind” in 2013. It was written and directed by Kallol Sen. He played the role of Micky in the movie. He is portraying a role where he wasted his life in wine and women and he found himself in a dangerous situation, where he has to deliver the drug consignment outside the country. He shared the screen with Suraj Ballikar, G.K. Desai, Rashmi Jha, Raiya Sinha, etc. He also acted for the Kannada serial “Kanasina Kanmani”.
Kiran played a negative role in the Colors path-breaking show “24” in 2013. This show was based on the American series of the same name. It was produced by Anil Kapoor Films. Anil Kapoor played the lead role in the show and Kiran played the role of Dev. It was a popular show. He had played the negative role as “Roy” in “Panch” which is the Sunshine Production telecasted on Channel V. The story is about a girl Roshni who wants to take the revenge from her seniors because they killed her sister. He also acted few episodes of the famous reality show “Gumraah” which is also aired on Channel V. Soon he will be seen in a lead role of Star Plus serial “The Mall”. It will be a love triangle. Kiran has also worked in few brand advertisements.

The two times national award winning actor for supporting roles Dattanna alias HG Dattatreya was working in Air Force, but was interested in acting. He is one of the actors, who are highly qualified and also held a position as a principal in the management academy of HAL. Acting was his passion and so, he continued to do films regardless of awards. Although awards are definitely an encouragement for the actor, but to continue his journey in over 90 films that spanned over 26 years is indeed a remarkable feat. Although he chose to take up supporting actor role or even in character roles, he is known for his versatile performances in Kannada film industry.
In many Kannada films, the central plot revolved around him, therefore, giving a greater satisfaction to this actor, who had underplayed his role as per the script always. HG Dattatreya had excelled in many movies, especially in Munnudi (2000) and Bharath Stores (2012) that fetched him a national award. For his effortless and natural performance of a small time grocery retailer in Kannada film Bharath Store, he was given a special jury award. Most of the actors in the tinsel town are not comfortable doing minor roles, but this actor has no qualms about it. He also impressed the Telugu audience with his performance in Thila Danam. His acting wooed audiences with brilliant performance in Kempe Gowda (2011). Many would have raised eyebrows at the decision of Dattanna to move towards tinsel town, but so far, he received applauds for his acting in many films. Known for his magnificent acting prowess in Kannada cinema, he has bagged many State film awards too and won an International award. In the years that followed after his journey from theater to Kannada screen, the actor has carved a niche for himself.
Besides grabbing the National Awards twice in 2003 and 2012, Dattareya had received the Best Actor Award in International Film Festival in Fiji in 2013. Dattareya’s performance in Neer Dose with “Jaggesh,” "Haripriya" and Suman Ranganathan is unforgettable. In 2017, he played in Srinivasa Kalyana, “Jilebi,” a comedy horror thriller, Prathima, “Raajakumara,” Tab, Kempirve and Hombanna. In 2018, he played in more than half a dozen films including a web series titled Joshelay. 2019 started with success for Dattareya through Jaggesh movie Premier Padmini. He played in the high budgeted multi-starrer Bollywood film, Mission Mangal with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Sonakshi Sinha, directed by Jagan Shakti.
Thanks to his underrated yet extremely sincere performances in half a dozen films. To sum up his acting ability, he had given strong proof of his acting talents holding his own against the biggest banners of Kannada cinema.

Born on 24th March, 1966, Sadhu Kokila, also known as Kokila Sadhu, hails from a family of musically inclined people. His father was a violinist in a music group of Karnataka Police Department. His sister and mother are singers. Layendra, Kokila’s brother, is also an actor. Kokila pursued his schooling at St. Joseph’s Indian High School in Bangalore. Kannada star Upendra provided him with the name Sadhu Kokila.
Kokila kickstarted his career in the film industry as a musician and eventually he was referred to Kasturi Shankar, another musician. He has the reputation of being one of the swiftest keyboard players in India. Kokila has helmed direction for 12 Kannada flicks, and 6 of them were remakes. His directorial venture Anarkali was dropped midway.
Kokila expresses that audiences and the media question whether his films are a remake or original. He had made up his mind not to endeavor in remakes. He feels that composing music requires a lot of creativity. As far as his comedy stint is concerned, he is loved by the audience. And about acting he feels that it is exciting. Sadhu Kokila has received awards for music direction twice.
As far as remakes are concerned Kokila is of the view that there are creative limitations. But originals are enjoyable both in the sense of creativity and visualization. Sadhu Kokila along with Doddanna make a good pair for situation comedies. Kokila is compared with Johnny Lever of Bollwyood,for his comedy skills.
On his personal front, Kokila is wedded to Saleena. They are blessed with two sons.
15. Suchendra Prasad
Suchendra Prasad, the name very common to the theater world is an accomplished actor, the acclaimed director, choreographed, and has given music for films, television, and radio. He has written as well directed several plays. Also known as Sachindra or K suchendra Prasad, he owns a very creative intellect and the subjects of his plays reflect that brilliant perspective. He refines his subjects with the ingredients of his imagination and experiences and engages them as a vessel to fathom the deepest nooks of mental faculty and is able to convey feelings, thoughts, and interpretations to the diverse circle of spectators. He was born in 1973(Age 44) in Karnataka and has higher educational qualifications M.A. & LLB. He is well versed in several languages – English, Hindi, and Kannada. For him, language never became a barrier in his way of learning several art forms of different regions.

Tennis Krishna was born on 15th November 1949 near the Bangalore district of Karnataka. His peculiar surname- ‘Tennis’ was attributed to him since before he became an actor, Krishna was a professional Tennis coach, teaching amateurs and schoolchildren, the basics of Tennis. As there were a lot of actors in the Kannada film industry under the name ‘Krishna’, production controllers and filmmakers began referring to him as Tennis Krishna and hence, the name stuck and it gave him such an amount of exposure that he chose Tennis as his official surname to refer to himself in the film industry. Krishna was always passionate about his acting, and his interests are evident from the fact that he was a dedicated performer in various dramas, troupes, and theaters.
