The reason is Junior Upendra, who hadn’t socialized with the girls, doesn’t know how to lead a family life. So, Sruthi, who feels lonely, decided to put an end to her loneliness and the resultant is the divorce. Prema doesn’t want his son to end up his marital life and wants him to stay happy with his wife. So, she prays and brings her deceased husband to the earth to solve his son’s problem. What happens after his arrival? Did the junior get back his divorce idea? Watch the film in theaters.
Upendra has done a dual role and he has shown his acting prowess once again. Uppi’s dialogue delivery is neat and stylish, as ever. Prema’s reentry is surprising and she has done her best, as usual. Sruthi has no big role to do, but she does a satisfying job.
Arun Loknath has remade the Telugu super hit film Soggade Chinni Nayana with some alterations that suit the Kannada sensibilities. However, the film is just a ditto of the Telugu film but with Uppi’s style.
What’s Not There?
If you want to watch an entertainer just to pass your time, this movie will entertain you. If you are a person, who wants some social message with a logical theme, then this won’t match your requirements. However, Upendra Matte Baa is worth watching, once!
