Raai Laxmi or Lakshmi Rai is a famous South Indian actress and model. She was born on 5 May, 1989, in Bangalore, Karnataka. She did many ad-films before entering films. She worked as model for Fair & Lovely, Bru Coffee, Sarvana stores, etc., A director saw her talent and gave her a chance to act in a Tamil film. Hence, Raai Laxmi debuted with a Tamil film called Karka Kasadara. After the film she got many film chances and acted in numerous Tamil films. She acted in various genre movies like comedy, drama, and action, simultaneously. She played a comedy role in her next film, Kundakka Mandakka, and her other important films in Kollywood are Dharmapuri, and Nenjal Thodu. Her role as a lawyer in the movie, Dhaam Dhoom, directed by Jeeva, gained her critics appreciation. She won a Filmfare for the same film.

Shamna Kasim is a well known Indian film actress and model. She is popularly known by her stage name ‘Poorna.' She was born in Kannur to a Muslim-Malayalee couple Kasim and Ramla. She has done her schooling from St. Teresas Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School in Kannur after shifting from Ursuline Senior Secondary School. She shifted her school to concentrate more on her dancing skills.

Anu Sithara is an Indian Film and Television Actress. She works in the Malayalam and Tamil Film Industries. Anu hails from Wayanad district in Kerala. Anu was born on the 21st of August in the year 1995. Her father’s name is Abdul Salam, and her mother’s name is Renuka Salam.

Ponnamma Babu is a noted character artist known for portraying satire roles. She is a trained Bharathanatyam and Mohiniyattam dancer as well. She entered into theater when she was 15 years. After her marriage to noted theater director Babu, she quit acting in her early age. She made her movie debut in 1996 in Padanayakan playing wife to the noted actor Rajan P Dev. Even though it was a small character she got recognized with her unique acting skills. She has done many character roles as mother, sister, sister-in-law, which were all performance oriented. She never looked for the length of the role she had, but how important the role was in the movie. She started dubbing for herself after Ennu Swantham Janakikutty which gave her recognition for her unique voice and her humorous dialogue delivery. She has acted in almost more than 150 movies so far and still doing good character role in movies.

Her television debut was in comedy serials like Cinemala, which addressed the day today issues either political or social in a comic way. Cinemala is a comedy programme broadcasted in Asianet once a week since 1993 completing more than 1000 episodes and considered to be the oldest programme being broadcasted in a channel. She also acted in the comedy serial Sanmanasullavarkku Samadhanam, a serial about hopes, dreams, politics and culture with gentle humor and funny dialogues. It was also a breakthrough for the National Award winner Suraj Venjaramoodu who was also part of it. 

She focuses more on acting in movies than serials and expects to get more strong and deep roles in movie in the future. She is settled in Kottayam, with her husband and her three children; two daughters Deepthi Nirmala and Pinky, and a son Mathew Damien. Her daughter Pinky has made her movie debut in the movie Nakshathrangal in 2014 and her movie Mr. Paavanayi 99.99 is expected for release shortly.

Pradeep Nair is a famous Indian Director, Writer, and cinematographer. Pradeep was born in Kottayam, Kerala, India. Pradeep Nair won some big awards in 2004, like the Kerala State Film Award and in 2005 National Film Award for his Film Oridam. In his career, he did a lot of work in directing, acting, and photography in movies. In the film Pavada and Immanuel, he did the cinematography. Pradeep Nair directed some hit movies, Oridam (2004), Crossroad(2017), and Cocktail (2010). His comedy movie Achayans got released in 2017. Pradeep acted in the film Thegidi in 2014.

Hari Narayanan is a Tamil and a Malayali song lyricist. It is hard to find a native Malayali who has never heard any music composition or song made by this famous lyricist. They are very fond of his music and almost hear him regularly. The most popular and famous Malayalam music and song of 2014 was composed and written by Hari. The name of the song was Olenjali Curuvi. The lyrics of the song were so touching and soothing that it captured the attention of not only the young generation, but also the old people couldn’t resist themselves from loving this composition. Even the song Kaatumooliyo Pranayam was a great hit.

Haricharan Seshadri is an eminent Carnatic singer who gives his vocal in many Malayalam, Tamil, and other regional movies. He made his debut through the Tamil flick ‘Kadal’, in which he got the chance to sing two solo songs "Unakkena Iruppaen" and the title song "Kaadhal". In the same movie, he also had sung a duet song ‘Thottu Thottu’ with Harini Shankar. 
 

Ranjith Unni is an Indian playback singer who has contributed a lot for Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil movies. He made his debut from the Kannada movie ‘Power,’ as a playback singer which released in 2014. The playback singer is popular in Tamil industry through films like ‘Yaman,’ ‘Thirumanam,’ etc. He made his debut in the Malayalam film industry from the film ‘Velipadinte Pusthakam,’ which released in 2017. Some of his other Malayalam works include ‘Oru Kuttanandan Blog’ and Joseph. ‘Kanchana 3’ and ‘Shikkari Shambhu’ are some of his notable works.

Born on the 22nd of September, 1987, Unni Mukundan is the son of M Mukundan Nair and Roji Mukundan. He was born in Villadom in Trichur, but grew up in Ahmedabad. Unni made his foray into the film industry after the completion of his Plus Two in commerce, and is currently pursuing his B.A. in English from the Prajyothi Nietan College, Thrissur. Unni is a firm believer in having a good education, and is usually found to be busy with his classes when he is not shooting for his movies, even quoting “I believe that I am in a space where I can fix my dates”, showing his confidence in his ability, and also in his belief that a good education is absolutely essential.

Known as the “Muscle Aliyan” of M-Town, Unni made his debut in the Tamil movie Seedan in 2011, which was an adaptation of the Malayalam Nandanam, as the main lead. His debut Malayalam movie was Bombay March 12 alongside the veritable Mammootty. He also played a supporting role in Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty.

His versatility saw him reprise roles in movies such as Ezham Suryan, Bangkok Summer. He also played the title role in Mallu Singh alongside Kunchacko Boban, which turned out to be a box office hit. His other movies include Theevram, I Love Me, Ithu Pathiramanal, D Company, Orissa, The Last Supper, Rajadhi Raja and Vikramadhityan.

He has gained popularity for his role in Vikramadhityan, where he plays the role of the son of a cop and is placed against Dulquer Salman who plays the role of the son of a thief. Both the boys become classmates in school and the movie then proceeds to show their journey into adulthood.

For his role in Bombay March 12, Unni won several awards including the Asianet Film Award: Best New Face of the Year 2011, the Asiavision Movie Awards: 2011 Best New Face of the Year, The Jaihind TV Best Newcomer of the Year 2011, the Amritha TV Best Debut Award  and the South Debut Actor for South Indian International Movie Awards.

Vijay Yesudas (Born: 23rd March, 1979) is an Indian classical musician and playback singer from Chennai. He is known for his work predominantly in the south Indian film Industry, especially Malayalam, and Tamil films as well as in other Indian Languages such as Telegu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Vineeth Srinivasan is known to the music industry for his popular and hit song, Karale, karalinte. Being the son of film star Sreenivasan, he never had even thought of singing as a career. But of course, he likes popular Hindi songs and admires voice of K.J. Jesudas, Brad Paisley, and Udit Narayan.

Zia Ul Haq is a famous singer in Mollywood. He hails from Tamil Nadu. He inherited his passion for singing from his family. His grandmother used to sing, his father played the harmonium, and his mother was a singer at Akashvani Radio. After completing high school, he went to Sangeeth Sandhana Mandir in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.He visited Nizamuddin Dargah frequently, where he learned the art of Sufi music. Jayadevan Chakkadath, a sound editor and recordist from Thrissur, is well recognized for his Malayalam films. He was born in Thrissur, Kerala, India, on January 13, 1981. K Aravindakshan and Vijayalakshmi are his parents, and he's a sound editor, sound designer, dialogue editor, foley editor, and remixer. In 2017, he received the National Film Award for Best Audiography for Kaadu Pookkunna Neram. Dr. Biju directed, which received two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Sound Recordist in 2017. In 2007, he graduated from the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata with a post-graduate diploma in sound recording and engineering. From 2015 to 2017, he worked at the Srishti School of Arts, Design, and Technology in Bangalore. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology (1998-2002).

Arun Manohar is a costume designer in Malayalam movies. His debut on the big screen was with the film ‘Alice: A True Story', directed by Anil Das, that released in 2014. In the same year, Biju’s Bhaskar Nari too gave him a break in his movie ‘@Andheri’. In both the movies, his job got special attention. As both the movies had characters of our society, his costume designs got special applause. Arun Manohar also became popular in Malayalam movies like ‘Kunjiramayanam’ and ‘Balyakalasakhi’. In the year 2016, he designed costumes for Murali Gopy and Anoop Menon who were in the lead roles in 'Pa Va' and for Mohanlal in the movie 'Pulimurugan' and in the year 2016, he had designed costumes for Mammootty in a film named 'PullikkaranStaraaa'.

Shameer Muhammed is Malayalam Film industry editor who did his independent debut as an editor from movie Charlie in 2015. This romantic drama was directed by Martin Prakkat and was written by Prakkat and Unni R. This movie won 7 state awards in Kerala. He was born in Thrissur, Kerala, India. He started his career as an editor in 2012 by ad films and albums.

Muhammed Kutty Ismail Paniparambil is the original name of Mammootty, the Malayalam superstar. Having working in more than 300 movies he is still a star to reckon with, in Malayalam film industry. Apart from acting, he was also a lawyer. Currently he is busy with philanthropic works too.

Born on 7th September 1951, Mammootty also donned the role of a producer. He has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada, other than Malayalam films. He garnered the National Award for his acting skills, thrice in his career. He shares this feat with veteran actor Kamal Haasan. 5 Kerala State Film Awards and a dozen Filmfare Awards also decorate his cupboard. Mammootty was bestowed with Padmashri during 1998. He is fondly called as Mammukka or Megastar by Malayalam fans.

Hailing from Kottayam, Kerala, Mammootty, after studying in Maharajah College, he pursued law at the Ernakulam Government Law College. Mammootty entered the film industry through the insignificant role in the film Anubhavangal Paalichakal in 1971. The flick Devalokam was the first flick in which he played the lead role. Sphodanam and Trishna made Mammootty a star to reckon with in Malayalam cinema.

Mammootty was very much lauded for his performance in the flick New Delhi. Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha is the another film which provided the perfect fodder to his acting skills. In his career, Mammootty acted with several actors and actresses. Mammootty also involved himself in the production of some serials in television. Mammootty is credited with the responsibility of Akshaya project’s goodwill ambassador. He also supports various other social causes, including a project pertaining to health.

Jacob Gregory has mainly worked in Malayalam films. The 2013 Malayalam flick ABCD is his debut film. This film was directed by Martin Prakkat. The TV series (online sitcom) Akkarakazchagal showcased his acting prowess and he gained recognition for his performance. The name of his character in this series is Gregory or ‘Giri Giri.” This character was well crafted. This TV series was instrumental in Jacob Gregory travelling Canada, U.S. and Europe. He performed various shows based upon this series. In fact, Jacob was so engrossed with the character Girigiri that he used to imitate it in real life too. 

Jaise Jose is a film actor who works in Malayalam and Tamil industries. He was born on October 27, 1997, at Vadakancherry, Trichur in Kerala. He has been passionate about acting since his school days and has done mono-act performances during cultural fests. Though he was interested in acting, he didn’t get a chance to enter the film industry, so he went to Dubai and started his own business. During his stay in Dubai, he met a few of his friends in the film industry, and they were the ones who helped him to achieve his passion. Jonny Jonny Yes Papa is the movie that brought him fame, and people started to recognize him. His first screen appearance was with Mohanlal.

Jayan Cherthala is a South Indian film actor and is majorly associated with the Malayalam film industry. He was born on 21 March, 1971, in Cherthala, Alappuzha, Kerala, India. His father, Jayan R. Nair, is a well-known Malayalam dramatist and writer. His name came from his father's name and the village he came from, Cherthala. He married Jaya Sree.

Jude is a famous Malayalam film director who was born on 25th April 1983 at Kochi, Kerala. His first film as a director was in the Malayalam film Ohm Shanthi Oshaana. In his childhood, he was active in a mono act and drama. He was the action hero of Biju. Jude started his career with Crazy Gopalan in 2008. He was the assistant director of Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010) and Thattathin Marayothu (2012).

Lalu Alex is a famous actor in Malayalam cinema industry. He was born and brought up in Piravam, Kochi. Lalu Alex is born on 30th November 1954. He is married, and the couple has three children named Ben (who acted in a Malayalam movie Orkut Oru Ormakoot), Sen and Siya.  

He started his career in 1978 in a movie Ee ganam marakkumo.  He has been active in the film industry since 1978. Recently he has acted in Villaliveeran starring Dileep and many films like Monsoon, Salam Kashmir, how old are you, etc. in 2014 and many future projects.

Nandan Unni is a Malayalam actor who has worked in supporting roles in the Mollywood industry. He has appeared in supporting roles in many Malayalam films, which are Immanuel in 2013, 1983 in 2014, Ennu Ninte Moideen in 2015, Paavada in 2016, Aby in 2017, Theeram in 2017 and few more.

Nedumudi Venu was born on 22nd May 1948. He is commonly known as Kesavan Venu Gopal. His parents are PK Kesavan Nair and Kunjikkuttiyamma in Nedumudi Alappuzha in Kerala. He had four siblings, all brothers. His father was a schoolmaster. Nedumudi completed his primary education at NSS Higher Secondary School and St Mary's Higher Secondary School, Champakulam. During school days, he was interested in music and arts.

Shaheen Siddique is an Indian actor and was born on 21st February 1989 in Ernakulam, Kerala, India. He is well known for his work in Malayalam films. Shaheen finished his schooling from “The Choice School.” After his education, he took business as his career. He is the son of the film actor Siddique. Shaheen was invited to make his film debut in “Pathemari” directed by “Salim Ahamed.”

Siddique, who is a Malayalam film actor, producer, and a television host started his film career initially with comedy roles, and later he continued performing a variety of roles. Born at Edavanakkad, in Ernakulam Kerala, Siddique is the youngest child with two other siblings. Completing his primary schooling in his hometown, Siddique later took Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Kerala and worked for a few more years in Saudi Arabia. Later he quit his job and started exploring his inner talents. He started his artistic career as a mimicry artist. Married to Seena, Siddique has two sons. Shaheen Siddique is his eldest son from previous marriage, and he made his debut in the movie Pathemari.

Sohan Seenulal is a Mollywood movie actor and director; He has worked in films like Thoppil Joppan in 2016, Vanyam in 2016 and Doubles in 2011. He has also appeared in a few movies like Oru Kuttanadan Blog and Parole .

Vivek Gopan is a young, talented, good-looking actor from the Mollywood film industry, who has become the favorite of the small screen family audience ever since he started playing the lead role, Suraj, in the mega serial, ‘Parasparam’, on the Asianet channel. Vivek is more popular among the youth as the star player of the Amma Kerala Strikers cricket team in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).
