Plot

A primary school in a rural area had been closed for more than a decade. The owner of the school decides to shut down the school, as it has no pupils. Uma Teacher and Pappi Chechi, the helper in the school request him to stop shutting the school and try to find students to the school. Did they find students? What happened to the school? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Aparna proved her worth once again and lived as Uma Teacher. Sethulakshmi did justice to her role, Pappi Chechi.

Analysis

The story looks quite impressive on papers. Yes, we do agree that it is a good performance-oriented subject and the artists did their job well too. But, the screenplay and the direction are not up to the mark. The debutant directors Ajith Pulleri and Suneesh Babu had tried their level best. But, if the screenplay is more effective, then the film would have got a great reach. The songs by Rahul Raj is good and the BGM is attractive too. The visuals are neatly captured.

What’s There?

Performance of Aparna and Sethulakshmi are excellent
Music and cinematography are impressive

What’s Not There?

Screenplay is weak
Narration is amateurish

Verdict

Although the title fits the story well, if the screenplay had some gripping scenes and the narration had been interesting, the audience would have got an exciting watch. If there are no more films for you to watch this weekend, you could try this. But, don’t expect more and go! But Aparna and Sethulakshmi will not disappoint you!
