Chithra is a worldwide known Indian soulful singer. Her original name is Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra. Born in July 1963, Chithra has grown into a versatile singer who can sing all variants. Though she is a born Malayali, she sang in more than 13 languages so far, and the number is still going on. She is fondly known as Chinna Kuyil and Keralathinte Vanambadi, which translates into English as Little Nightingale and Nightingale of Kerala. This is due to her exceptionally melodious singing which has never known any boundaries. She made the excellent contribution to the Music industry in languages like Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, Assamese, Hindi, Bengali, Sanskrit, Badaga, Tulu, Punjabi, and Urdu. She has a record of being able to record more than 25,000 songs and the number is still increasing. In addition to these recorded songs, she also participated in countless concerts.

Radhika Thilak was Born in 1969, a well-known Malayalam playback artist and devotional vocalist. She studied at St. Teresa's school and Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Ernakulam. She won first prize in her school’s youth celebration in light music years prior. She picked up consideration through light music and later entered standard silver screen as a singer. She worked with All India Radio too. The beautiful vocalist married Mr. Suresh Krishna, and the couple have a girl called Devika Suresh. Radhika, with her family, was in Dubai for a couple of years because of her significant others’ employment. "Pulkodithumbilum", for the motion picture “Sanghaganam” by P. A. Backerwas, was her debut tune in 1979. However, the sentimental "Maya manchalil" song from the film “Ottayal Pattalam” directed by T. K. Rajeev Kumar, was her first mainstream melody in 1991.

Sujatha Mohan (Sujatha or Baby Sujatha) is one of the most prolific singers after S. Janaki, P. Susheela, and K.S. Chitra. She has sung nearly 10,000 songs in many Indian languages and has performed over 5000 live concerts in her career. She came to spotlight while singing songs with K.J. Yesudas in musical concerts. This fetched her recognition, and she got her first break as a playback singer when she was in the sixth standard. 

Revathi is a popular south Indian actress, who has appeared in Hindi films too. Born as Asha Kutty, she changed her name to Revathi, for the stage. Right from the beginning of her career, she did not lose her popularity, because of her excellent performances. Mann Vasanai, directed by Bharathi Raja is her first movie. Pudhumai Penn was the movie that showed her in a different angle and she was praised for her performance. Pagal Nilavu is one of her top snatched films and in Aan Pavam she acted as a dumb girl, who lost her voice in an accident. In this film, she paired with Pandiya Rajan and the movie was a super hit. Kai Kodukkum Kai is the only film, she paired Rajini Kanth. She has acted with Kamal Hassan in a number of films, among which Oru Kaidhiyin Diary, Magalir Mattum, Thevar Magan and Punnagai Mannan are memorable. In Magalir Mattum, she co-starred with Urvashi and Rohini and the film was a super hit.

Kashmira Shah or also known as Kashmera or Kash, is a renowned Indian model and film and television actress. She was born on December 2, 1971 in Mumbai, India. She is a half Gujarati and half Maharashtrian and the granddaughter of Anjanibai Lolekar, a notable classical singer. Kashmira used to participate in many beauty pageants including Miss India Talent and Miss University World.

Manju Pillai famous for her comic role in Malayalam TV serials and films is the grand daughter of yesteryear actor S.P Pillai. She is famous for her role in 'Life is Beautiful' and the TV series 'Chila Kudumba Chitrangal'.

Manju used to act in Drama competitions during her school days. She acted in 'Sthree Parvam' directed by famous play writer Soorya Krishnamurthy while she was in 10th standard. By seeing little Manju's performance on Drama's her teachers used to congratulate her and always used to bless her on her skills. As she was the granddaughter of S.P Pillai, she used to get many 'big fans' on her performance while on-stage

Manju, who never thought to get into the cine field, planned to do her graduation in Law. But with the pressure of family friends and relatives, she finally decided to do some roles on TV shows. Apart from serial acting, Manju was also seen as the judge in various reality shows that aired on TV. 

Manju debuted in the serial 'Sathyavum Mithyayum'. She got few other projects as well in TV with some famous directors in cine industry. Her role in TV soaps 'Chila Kudumba Chitrangal' and 'Life Is Beautiful' got well accepted. Her most appreciated role in teleserial was with film actor Jagadeesh in 'Life Is Beautiful'. Her role was a quirky-wit house wife who always love and do quarrel with husband. The presentation with comic touch made the serial one of the family favorite of all time.

'Thatteem Mutteem' was another big success serial that Manju acted along with KPAC Lalitha. They essayed mother-in-law/daughter-in-law characters with names Mayavatiamma and Mohanavalli. Most the episode went high ranking on TRP rating with the comic duo presence of these two leading actresses. 

Manju also acted in few critically acclaimed movies like 'Mazhayethum Munpe', 'Irattakuttikalude Achan', 'Ramanan' and with veteran director Adoor Gopalakrishnan 'Naalu Pennungal'. Vasundhara Das is better known as Shakalaka Baby in celluloid. She made the audience dance to her tune by her song ‘Shakalaka Baby’ which she had sung for music composer A R Rahman for Shankar’s film ‘Mudhalvan.' The song was featured on actress Sushmita Sen in the film. For this item song, she even got her first Filmfare award as a playback singer. But she is also a gifted Indian actress who made her debut in a Tamil film ‘Hey Ram’ opposite Kamal Haasan where she played the role of Mythili Iyengar as a wife of Kamal Haasan. For an actress to get a chance of debut role in Kamal Haasan’s film itself is a milestone in any actress career. But that was not everything for this actress. She got her biggest break in international filmmaker Mira Nair’s project ‘Monsoon Wedding’. In this film, she played a daughter to Naseeruddin Shah, who wanted to arrange a chaotic and expensive wedding for her daughter with Pravin Dabas. The film fetched her lot of critical acclaim. Later, she appeared with Ajith Kumar in a Tamil film ‘Citizen’ which was a commercial success. The film also had Meena and Nagma playing supporting roles. In 2004, she acted in a Malayalam movie ‘Vajram’ where she played the role of actress Gemini, who is the wife of actor Babu Antony in the screen. The film gave her an opportunity to act with Malayalam superstar Mammootty. Consequently, she even acted in a few Hindi movies such as ‘Ek Dastak’ and ‘Film Star’, etc.

A great Indian film director Mr.Ranjith Balakrishnan Nair was born on 4^th September 1964 in Balussery Kerala. Apart from directing Malayalam Cinema he is also known for variegate aspects of filming like screen writer , producer as well as actor. Two of his most famous film ventures are “Thirakkatha “ and “Indian Rupee “that  won the National Film Award for the Best Feature Film in Malayalam in 2008 and 2011 resp.

. Padmakumar is a film director mainly based in the Malayalam industry. He has also worked as an assistant director to several leading directors in many movies. He later on, established himself as an independent director after he directed Ammakilikkoodu in 2003. He was born on 1st January 1980 in Kerela, India. He was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Director-Malayalam. Some of his best-known works include Vaasthavam (2006), Shikhar (2010), Jalam (2015), Joseph (2018), and Mamangam (2019). He has been active since the year 1988. There are several other notable directorial experiences.

Antony Perumbavoor was a driver earlier in his life (he had been a driver to veteran actor Mohanlal) and later became a famous producer in the film industry. Eventually, his life took a drastic change, and he became Mohanlal’s business partner. Antony Perumbavoor owns a production house named Ashirvad Cinema and the first film that this production Studio produced was Narsimha.

P Sukumar is a cinematographer, supporting from the Mollywood entertainment industry. He was born in Palakkad Kollengode. His siblings are Chandrasekharan and P. Gopikumar. He has performed in movies such as Haram, released on 20 February 2015, and is a romantic-drama genre. The film was produced by Vinod Sukumaran. Other films in which he has produced are Chettayees, Swa Le(2009, cinematographer), Twenty: 20(2008, cinematographer), Lion(2006, cinematographer), and The Speed Track(2007, cinematographer). Awards obtained by him are Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematography and Kerala State Film Award for Best Debut Director.

No doubt he stays behind the scenes, but for music his contribution is far from unseeable. Suresh Peters is a kind of person who finds himself crazy for music since his childhood. He recalls his first live concert at the age of 4years, which was broadcasted on radio and since then the process begins – of the formation of veteran music director. A. R. Rahman and Shivamani are the childhood friends of Suresh Peters. Suresh Peters is a renowned music director and playback rapper/singer for the movies in India. His notable and renowned songs include “Chikku Bukku Rayile" from Gentleman and "Style" from the movie Sivaji: The Boss. Peters first worked in a Malayalam movie “Punjabi House” being the music director.

Gireesh Puthenchery is one of the most prolific lyricists of Malayalam cinema. Over the last two decades, he has penned about 2000 songs that had been just like a poetic flow out of his mind. He has won the Kerala State Award seven times, of which four were given to him for consecutive years (2001-04). Besides being a lyricist, he tried his hand even as a screenwriter.

His family had a tradition of classical music, and his brothers are too singers and music composer in the industry. He also appeared as an anchor for musical reality TV shows for the younger generation( SaReGaMA and Star Singer).

Mohan Lal is the Super Star of the Malayalam film industry. He is the Son in Law of a famous producer cum veteran actor Balaji. Mohan Lal is married to Suchithra, the elder daughter of Balaji. Mohan Lal was born in the year 1960 in Elanthoor in Kerala. He is very popular for his natural acting and simplicity. The first movie, he committed was Thiranottam, but the first to release was Manjil Virinja Pookal. This movie had Poornima Jayaram as his pair and that is the debut movie in Malayalam for her too. Nikhil Mathew is an Indian playback singer, who usually works for Tamil and Malayalam films and is known for his award winning hit song , Azhanlinte Azhangalil. Born to a Christian family on 23rd October 1983, he hails from Kottayam, Kerala. In 2006, he won the Airtel Super Singer on Vijay, which earned him his breakthrough song Enayudhire, under music composer Harris Jayaraj for the Tamil film Bheema. Nikhil Mathew’s parents are Dr. A.V. Mathew and Saly Mathew who currently live in Kottayam. He married Meena, who comes from a Brahmin family, and lives with her in Chennai. Mathew completed his school and graduation in Kerala before moving to Chennai for MBA at Satyabhama Deemed University. Mathew was passionate about music from a very young age and had a habit of memorizing Tamil songs.

An award-winning celebrity who belongs to the South-Indian cinematic universe, Ranjan Abraham is known for his work in many highly acclaimed Malayalam films. Having edited over a hundred Malayalam movies, several of his works have won numerous awards at the national level. The respected filmmaker has thousands of fans all across Kerala as well as most of the South-India. Born in 1977, Thuruppugalaan, Kerala, India he has played the role of producer & director on more than a few occasions. He has been an active member of the Malayalam film industry since 1999.

Srinivas Mohan is an India based visual effect designer and supervisor. He has worked in the almost various type of film industry whether it is Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada or Malayalam. He is the leader in the field of visual effects and has been hired by some of the highest budget film productions houses across the country. Born as Vadlamudi Srinivas Murali Mohan to a Telugu family, he was raised and brought up in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. After completing his schooling and graduation, he started working as a software programmer. He saw a colleague of his working on an animated logo, and it inspired him to work on it. From there his animation career started, and he began working on advertisement and television projects which finally landed him in films. He says that it took him ten years to change his field from a 3-D animation artist to a visual effects supervisor. His debut film was ‘Indian’ starring Kamal Haasan in the year 1996. From thereon, he started working on projects like ‘Jeans,’ ‘Kushi,’ and ‘Boys.’

Innocent Vareed Thekkethala is the real name of popular Malayalam actor Innocent Vincent. Born on 28 February 1945, Innocent is also a politician. He is an accomplished actor of Malayalam films and comedy is his strength. He delivers witty gestures, and his dialogues in the Thrissur accent is noteworthy. In fact, it is no exaggeration to tell that, Inncoent is a phenomenon in Malayalam films. Mimicking his mannerisms is like tasting sugar for mimicry artistes. His reputation is such that, he is a frequent actor of many Malayalam film directors’ films.

Jagathy Sreekumar, a famous Indian film actor known for his comedy roles. His original name is Sreekumar Achary known by his screen name Jagathy. Sreekumar was born in 1951 in Jagathy, Trivandrum.His father was a drama artist, and he worked for all India radio. He did his schooling in Trivandrum and completed his graduation from Mar Ivanious College Trivandrum. He first started his career as a medical representative and due to his immense passion towards the film, he turned to the film industry and became an actor.

During his school and college days itself, he acted in dramas and play and became a theater artist. He started his film career in the movie Chattambi Kalyani directed by J Sasikumar in 1975.After that, he did small roles, and later he became popular for his comedy roles. In 1976 after his after Jagathy married to Mallika Sukumaran and Jagathy at that time was at the starting stage of his career. Mallika was a lead actress in the industry also. Later they got separated, and Jagathy continued with his acting. Jagathy mentions his father as a strict person and in interviews, he always mentions about his father.Jagathy film journey continued and in 1979 he again married Kala, and the couple had a daughter Sreelakshmi. Later in 1984, the relationship ended with a divorce. Kalpavriksham, Madalasa, Ethoruswapnam, Pappu, Munettam, Adipan, Yavanika, Ayityham, Jaalakam, Shikkar, Naayika, Udayananu Taram, etc. were his famous hits. In 1984, Jagathy again married Shobha and has one son and daughter.

Jagathy directed two films in Malayalam Kalyanaunnikal and Annakutty Kodambakkam Vilikunu. 1990's Jagathy Kalpana combination was a hit and almost all films the pair joined. He wrote the screen play for the movie champion Thomas in 1990.Apart from all these Jagathy also tried his luck as a playback singer and sung almost five songs in Malayalam.

Jagathy got many awards for his performance, and he is in Guinness book of world records for completing 1500 films .he got 5 Kerala state film award,2 Kerala film critics award, Bahadoor Award in 2003, Prem Nazir ward in 2005, etc. He got The Kochi Times Film Award for his negative role in the movie Urumi.

During the peak point of his career in 2012 Jagathy met with an accident while returning to his house after film shoot. Jagathy was hospitalized over 1 year and is still recovering from his injuries. There is only one Jagathy in Indian cinema and nobody can ever replace his place.   The name Jagathy Sreekumar echoes in the mind of every malayalee audience and all are waiting for his comeback.

Joju George was born on 22nd October in 1977. He was born in Mala, Trichur, in Kerala. He was originally named Joseph George but is known in the industry by the name Joju George. He is a Malayalam actor who made his debut in the year 2003. Early Life George was born in Mala, a village in Kerala. He was born to Malayali parents, George and Rosy. He completed his schooling from GHS in Kuzhur. He later joined the Christ College before dropping out to pursue a career in acting. He started his career as an assistant director in 1991. His acting career began later in 2003. He holds a degree from Christ College in Irinjalakuda. Work Joju George started his career has a director. He has assisted for films like Friends and Dada Sahib. After a short stint in direction, Joju turned to acting. He made his debut in 2003 featuring in War and Love. His official debut was regarded in the film Pattalam in the same year. Since then he has been prolific in his work. Joju did many supporting roles in the beginning.

Siddique, who is a Malayalam film actor, producer, and a television host started his film career initially with comedy roles, and later he continued performing a variety of roles. Born at Edavanakkad, in Ernakulam Kerala, Siddique is the youngest child with two other siblings. Completing his primary schooling in his hometown, Siddique later took Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Kerala and worked for a few more years in Saudi Arabia. Later he quit his job and started exploring his inner talents. He started his artistic career as a mimicry artist. Married to Seena, Siddique has two sons. Shaheen Siddique is his eldest son from previous marriage, and he made his debut in the movie Pathemari.
