Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Surabhi Lakshmi hails from the town of Narikunni in Kozhikode, Kerala. Having passed her BA in Bharathanatyam, with a first rank from the Kaladii Sree Sankaracharya College; she has also completed her MA in Theatre Arts, with a passion for the theatre. She was part of Suvarna Theatre’s award winning play “Yakshikathakalum Naattuvarthamanangalum” which won her the Kerala Sahitya Nataka Academy’s Best Actress Award.

Surabhi caught the attention of the mainstream movie directors after her win in the reality show “Best Actor” in Amritha TV in 2008. Following this, she has performed in several films including the following: Thirakkatha, Gulmohar, Katha Thudarunnu, Pakal Nakshatrangal, Kancheepurathe Kalyanam, Housefull, Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal, Njanum Ente Familiyum, among others.

She currently plays a major character in the hit TV serial M80 Moosa on the Media One channel.

Surabhi has professed to loving theatre more than her blink-and-miss roles in the main stream cinema. Although her first love is theatre, she is currently gaining significant popularity for her performances in the Mazhavil Manorama channel soap, Kadhayile Rajakumari by K. K. Rajeev.

While the actress has portrayed serious roles and characters, her sense of humour is excellent, being able to handle jests from her colleagues about her small town upbringing.  She recalls with fondness and excitement, her journey from Nirakunni, to receiving the Kerala Sangeet Natak Academy award, to the reality show and finally the silver and large screen, and talks fondly of her family, wistfully wishing “Unfortunately, my father isn’t alive to see it all.”

Samyuktha Menon is an actress who mostly works in the Malayalam film industry. Initially she was a model and later, she ventured into acting. She is active in the industry from 2016. The budding actress was born and raised in Kerala, the God’s own country. She completed her primary education from an institution near her home.

Praveen Prabharam is a Malayalam film industry director and writer. He is currently working on the movie ‘Kalki’ in 2019. This movie is his directional debut and produced by Suvin K. Varkey and Prasobh Krishna.

Vini Vishwa Lal was born on the 25th of May, 1985, in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India. He studied at Al-Farook residential school in Feroke, Kozhikode. He then, graduated with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology. He was the classmate of Malayalam movie director Srinath Rajendran. Vini debuted as a screenwriter with the movie Second Show (2012). It was directed by Srinath Rajendran, which was also his debut movie. This also turned out to be Dulquer Salman, Sunny Wayne, and Gauthami Nair’s debut movie. His next film was Koothara (2014), starring Mohan Lal, Tovino Thomas, Bharath, and Sunny Wayne in lead roles, and was directed by Srinath Rajendran.

Gautham Sankar was born in Thrissur, India. He is a cinematographer in the Malayalam Film Industry. Gautham has completed his schooling in his hometown, Thrissur. He started his career as a Cinematographer with the movie Theeram. He has worked with the Production house of Thankam Movie. He has worked in many films as a Cinematographer like Kalki, Theevandi, Laitham Sundharam, Ladoo, Ottu, Anweshippin Kandethum, and many more. He is the nephew of Director Shyama Prasad.

Navin Murali is a renowned photographer known for his stunning and thought-provoking work. He was born and raised in India and later moved to the United States to pursue his passion for photography. Navin's work spans a wide range of subjects, from landscape and wildlife photography to portraiture and documentary photography. Navin Murali has won numerous awards for his photography, including the prestigious National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year award. His work has been published in various magazines and publications, including National Geographic, Conde Nast Traveler, and Time Out.

Rahul M Sathyan is a renowned photographer and videographer in the Malayalam film industry. He was born and brought up in the Thrissur city of Kerala. His birthday falls on 11 July. He spent most of his childhood in his hometown. He attended St Thomas College, Thrissur in, 2015. He started his career in the Malayalam film industry with the movie Koodasha (2018). Later, he worked in movies like Thamaasha (2019), Gauthamante Radham(2020), Chathur Mukham (2021), and Lalitham Sundaram(2022). He resides in his hometown Thrissur with his family. He has also founded a photography studio called Smilebokx. He does wedding and fashion photoshoots alongside working with the film industry.

Sreenath Unnikrishnan is a photographer known for his work in the movies 'The Great Father', 'Kammara Sambhavam' and 'Koodasha'. He completed his schooling at CNN Higher Secondary School, Cherpu. He graduated from the University of Calicut. He worked as a camera man and still photographer in the Camera and Electrical Department on the sets of movies like Kammara Sambhavam and Turbo. It is also worth mentioning that he also worked as a still photographer for films such as Guppy, Puzhu and Ente Ummante Peru. He launched Wedding Bells Photography in the year 2018 and is the managing director of the company. He lives in Thrissur, India.

Kailas Menon is a Malayalam film industry music composer. He is from Thrissur, Kerala, India. He now lives in Kochi, Kerala. Kailas Menon released his first album titled ‘Snehathode’ at the age of 16. In this album Singer Jyotsana who was one of his classmates sang one of the songs and the other singers were state award winner Asha G Menon, Afsal and Madhu Balakrishnan.

Born in the quaint seaport town of Kochi, Kerela, Renganaath Ravee is an Indian sound designer and sound editor who has worked on more than eighty films. Even though he currently resides in Mumbai, where he follows his occupation, he did his schooling in Kerala.

"Appu N.Bhattathiri is an editor and actor in Malayalam Film Industry. He started in the Malayalam cinema as an Assistant Director for the Crime-Drama film “Second Show” (2012). Later he worked for an independent film “Oraalppokkam” (2014) which was marked his editorial debut. He was noticed for his editorial talent and bagged about a dozen films as an editor.

Saiju Govind Kurup, known for his screen name as Saiju Kurup in the film world. Saiju was born in Aroor Kerala ion 1981 and he is currently a busy actor in the Malayalam industry. He made his debut in the ever hit classic movie Mayoogham directed by the famous director Hariharan. He played the character Unni who was a rebel. The opposite lead to Saiju was Mamta Mohandas .He got two awards for his acting in the movie Mayoogham. The best new comer Bharatan awards and film city awards.

Saiju was working in Birla company there he met his better half Anupama and then both joined in Airtel company. Saiju and Anupama later decided to marry and the couple had a beautiful girl child. He was the direct Sales manager in Airtel. At that time he met the famous singer M G Sreekumar who later introduced him to Hariharan. Mayoogham was a hit and for the memory of his first movie the couple named their daughter as Mayoogha.

Saiju then acted on many films in lead roles, negative roles, supporting roles etc. Some of his movies were box office hits like Munnariyippu, Baba Kalyani, Mulla, Makeup Man, Trivandrum Lodge etc. His role in Mulla was quite different both in looks and attitude. He played the role of a negative police officer.

Saiju was selected in the li9st of Forbes India Magazines most stunning actor. He ranked 12 th out of 100 members in the Forbes list. He has a large fan following and he constantly interacts with the followers in the online portal formkerala.com and because of his sincere attitude towards his fans his fans call him as Saiju Annan.

Tovino Thomas is a well-known face in the Malayalam Film Industry. He is an eminent model and actor in Mollywood. He has a huge female fan following owing to his muscular physique and smart personality. He was voted as the most desirable man in the newspaper Kochi Times, a subset of the Times of India. He was born into a Roman Catholic family in Irinjalakuda, Kerala. His father, Ellikal Thomas, is an advocate, and he has an elder brother, Tingston, and a sister, Dhanya. Tovino studied in Irinjalakuda at the Don Bosco High School and then moved to Coimbatore to finish his college. He obtained his graduation degree in engineering, majoring in the field of electronics in Coimbatore from the Tamil Nadu College of Engineering. After finishing college, he started working as a software engineer at Cognizant Technology Solutions for a few years. Thomas is a fitness freak and has been modeling since his college days. He has also done endorsements for a few top brands of Kerala such as Silver storm Theme Park in Athirappilly, Indulekha Hair Care Oil, and a few others. He has also done a few short films among which his roles in Grisaille and Jaalakam were appreciated widely. Sajeevan Anthikad spotted him upon seeing these short movies and advertisements and cast him in his first movie Prabhuvinte Makkal in the year 2012.

Son of the late actor Thilakan, Shammi Thilakan is one of the more versatile actors in the Malayalam movie industry having nearly 30 years of experience as an actor, and as a dubbing artist. He is the recipient of the State Award for Best Dubbing Artist for lending his voice to Nassar in the movie Gazal  in 1993. He also lent his voice for Napoleon in the movie Devasuram.

Shammi Thilakan began his career in 1986, having to work under the shadow of his immensely talented father Thilakan. However, through his quality work and his extremely professional attitude, he has made a name as prominent as his father in the movie industry. His debut was in the 1986 movie directed by K.G. George, Irakal where he performed a supporting role. His acting and skill soon got him noticed and he then began to see a wide variety of roles being offered.

From Jathakam in 1989 to Ottayal Pattalam in 1992, to Thalastaanam and Dhruvam, and Rajakeeyam to Boxer, Sargavasantham, Kaathil Oru Kinnaram to Sulthan Hyderali, Lelam and Bhoopathi Ezhupunna Tharakan & Pathram, Shammi has had over 20 hits in the 1990’s. 

His career took a massive boost from the year 2000 onwards, from where he has completed over 42 movies in the nearly 15 years since, with the total number of movies being made being over 70. Some of his other hits include Praja, Phantom, Kasthuriman and Housefull.

 In 2013, he was also awarded the TTK Prestige – Vanitha Film Awards for Best Comedian for his roles in Neram  and Sringaravelan.

His roles have been varied and interesting, from dark, negative characters that evoke strong emotion, to comedy that usually leaves the audience in stitches. Shammi has truly evolved into a strong and proficient actor stepping out from under his father’s shadow and carving a niche for himself.
