Enna Thavam Seitheno is scripted and directed by “Murabasalam.” The film has the star cast of “Gajini,” Vishnupriya, Priya Menon, “ Mayilsamy,” RNR Manohar, Delhi Ganesh, Aarthi Ganeshkar, Power Star Srinivasan, “ Singampuli” and Panparag Ravi. Devguru composed the music and S Senthilkumar produced the film.

Plot

RNR Manohar is the big wig in the town. Although the technology developed and the world is trying to land in the Mars, RNR Manohar follows century old traditions. His daughter Vishnupriya is just a photocopy of her father’s character. She had been rough and rude. She had a fight with the ice-cream seller Gajini. One day, a group that is affected by Manohar abduct Vishnupriya. Gajini saves her and automatically she falls for him. But, Gajini couldn’t accept her love, as he is afraid of Manohar. But, Vishnupriya compelled him and took him with her. Manohar decides to kill his daughter and Gajini. What happened next? Did the honor killing take place? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

The leads did their role right and RNR Manohar played the arrogant man, who is ready to kill his daughter for his caste and status. Singampuli and Mayilsamy appear in comedy sequences and Aarthi has just a couple of scenes.

Analysis

The director has come with a message-oriented subject in his first attempt. Although the honor killing track resembles that of the Jayam Ravi film Das, this one is a bit different. The story is not new; as usual, the rich girl and the poor boy love story. The production values are average in this small budget film.

What’s There?

  • Huge star cast engaged to pull the crowd
  • The message-oriented script

What’s Not There?

  • Same old rich heroine – poor hero slot
  • The father role following the tradition is boring
  • Twists are predictable

Verdict

Although it is a low budget film with the usual script, the message in the script is appreciable. If you are interested in watching the film with new leads, then you could watch it. The film is a one-time watch!
