Idam Porul Yaeval is an upcoming Tamil film of the Indian origin. The movie will be in the drama genre. Seenu Ramasamy will be the man in action behind the camera and will be directing the actors. He wrote down the story of the film as well, and penned down the screenplay of the movie. N. Lingusamy has produced it under the umbrella of Thirupathi Brothers. The film will feature Vijay Sethupathi and Nandita Swetha alongside Vishnu and Iyshwarya Rajesh in the lead characters in the movie.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has been offered the job of composes the background score and musical scores for the film. The film is about the people who leave their native lands and move to foreign places in search of jobs and money. It revolves around a group of young people who lives in a village and are on the verge of completing their high school. They have high ambitions and are expecting a lot from their life. They want to make their lives meaningful and achieve the targets they have kept in their mind for themselves. But life had other plans for them. The village does not have any college, and most of the kids in the village were only educated till high school if their parents agree to educate them.
The future of the young ones was limited to the village, helping their parents in the farm or family businesses. The character of the Vijay is highly ambitious and has dreams to earn and live a lavish lifestyle. He pleads his parents to sent him to college to the city for higher education. After frequent pursuing, his parents agrees to send him off the village. Seeing him leave the village, many other kids of his age started demanding higher education and as a result, most of the parents agreed and sent them to the nearby towns or cities.
The movie showcases the hardships these young people faces in their life; the feelings, love, emotions, day-to-day life and much more. It is the basic concept of the film. In an interview, Seenu Ramasamy, the director of the film said, "In today's generation, a large number of students leave their homes and move to other places for getting higher education or in search of job and wealth. The youth of the country will understand the delicacies that we are trying to put in the film. They are the most important section of audiences and the film is based on their life so they will connect with it."
