Nandita Swetha is a South Indian Actress. Swetha is her birth name. She was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. Her father is a businessman and mother is a homemaker. She has two brothers, both of them are younger to her. Nandita entered films in the year 2008 with the Kannada release ‘Nanda Loves Nanditha’; she played the role of Nanditha in the film that she continued as her screen name after that.

Swathi Reddy is an actress and TV presenter from India. She was known as Colours Swathi when she was doing the Telugu TV show, ‘Colours’, which was aired on Maa TV. Swathi was born on April 9, 1987, in Vladivostok, Russia. Her first name was Svetlana and then changed it to Swathi. Her father was working as a submariner from the Indian Navy. Then they moved to Mumbai and afterward, in Visakhapatnam where she spent her childhood days. When she was in her 11th standard, she moved to Hyderabad and studied at St. Mary’s College and finished Biotechnology. After taking the EAMCET test, she started on TV at 17. She hosted ‘Colors’ and because of the good feedback from the viewers, they extended the show, and it became a primetime show. She has finished over 150 episodes.

Gokul Nath is an Indian actor and choreographer. He works for Tamil Cinema. He was born on 12 August 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Once a graphic designer, Gokul discovered his talent as a mime artist and dancer.

J Sathishkumar started his career as a distributor with JSK Film Corporation. He mainly dealt with Hollywood movies while distributing. His first distribution came in the year 2006 with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker starrer, “Rush Hour 3.” In 2007, he distributed another Hollywood film, Live Free Or Die Hard. In the same year, he started producing movies. His debut production venture was Pasupathi C/O Rasakkapalayam. In 2009, he produced the controversial movie, Kadhal Kadhai directed by Velu Prabhakaran. In 2012, his “Aarohanam” directed by Lakshmy Ramakrishnan that featured Viji Chandrasekhar was a super hit. Vijay Sethupathi movie Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom is one among the super hits in the career of JSK. In 2013, Sathish produced “Paradesi” directed by “Bala,” which bagged a lot of awards. But, a surprise had been waiting for JSK in the same year with Thanga Meenkal directed by “Ram.” It is the film that got him a huge appreciation and dozens of awards, in his career so far. 2015 had been a good year for Sathish, as his film with newbies, Kuttram Kadithal grabbed him a National Award. The film directed by “Bramma G” got Tamilnadu State Award and Pondicherry State Award too. Ram’s film “Taramani” with Andrea Jeremiah had a delayed-release. But, it gained a huge appreciation from the audience and critics. Sathish’s Vaa Deal with Arun Vijay and Karthika Nair had been waiting for the release. 

Since 2012, Kollywood as well as the Indian film industry, has been gifted with a talented producer, VS Rajkumar. VS Rajkumar entered the industry with a blockbuster film, ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.’

Madhan Karky Vairamuthu was born on March 10, 1980. He lives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his education from College of Engineering, Guindy and University of Queensland. He is an Indian lyricist, software engineer, a professor, research associate, and a film dialogue writer. His parents are Vairamuthu and Ponmani; his father is a poet and a lyricist.

Siddharth Vipin is a music producer and an actor who works in the Tamil film industry. He was born on 7 November 1985 in the city of Salem in Tamil Nadu. His father was Vipin Chandra. The actor did his graduation in B.Com from the Loyola College, Chennai. Other than B.Com, he also has a degree in sound engineering from the SAE Institute.

Hariharan is a renowned Indian singer, who sings mainly for Hindi and Tamil films. Born in 1955, he is a well-known Ghazal singer. He was also instrumental in bringing fusion music to India. 

Colonial Cousins is the name given to Hariharan’s band, wherein he collaborated with Lesle Lewis. This band was featured in many private albums. Not only this, they have also composed music for a few movies in Hindi and Tamil. 

Hariharan is born and brought up in Mumbai and he is well-versed in Tamil, Malayalam, English and Hindi. Hariharan is the offspring of famous Carnatic vocalists H.A.S. Mani and Shrimati Alamelu. Hariharan inherited the music skills from his mother. Hindustani music was made known to him in his youth. Hariharan indeed, took great efforts to reach the position that he is in today; he used to practice singing for 13 hours. 

During the initial stages of his career Hariharan used to sing for television serials. After winning a prize in a competition at all India level Hariharan was offered to sing in the film “Gaman” by late music composer Jaidev. The song “Ajeeb Sa Neha Mujh Par Guzar Gaya Yaaron" from the film earned him recognition that he rightly deserved. 

The song “Thamizha Thamizha” from the movie Roja was an instant hit and Hariharan, who sung it was awarded the “Best Male Playback Singer” in the Tamil Nadu State Government Film Awards. 

Hariharan was introduced into the Tamil film industry by A R Rahman, who was also a newbie at that time. Since then, the duo created magic with soul stirring songs in films, including Minsara Kanavu, Jeans, Indian, Muthu, Taal, Mudhalvan, Iruvar, Indira, Rangeela, Alaipayuthey, Kannathil MuthamIttal, Sivaji etc. Hariharan is credited with the Padma Shri Award and has received National awards for a couple of times. Hariharan is the proud singer of around 700 songs. He had also sung in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi.

Maalavika also known by Mali was born on 16 September 1993 in Chennai to Malayali parents from North Malabar. She is an Indian independent musician and songwriter presently based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She started her music career as a member of the underground band, Bass-in-Bridge, but soon became a solo artist after the band was disestablished in 2011. Maalavika’s passion for music stems from her childhood as she says she has been listening and appreciating music from her childhood days. Though her parents were not musicians, they would play a lot of the 1970s and 1980s style music to her, even though she was fairly young. Her father listened to a lot of electronic music in early 1990’s. When Maalavika was five years old, her parents decided to enroll her in various extracurricular classes ranging from swimming, Bharata Natyam, piano and drawing classes.

Naresh Iyer is once again a popular face, but mainly due to his singing talent. This 34 year old singer hails from Mumbai. There is no end the number of hit songs he has produced over the years. Likewise, he owns a series of awards that have been rightfully given to him. His contribution to Bollywood has been tremendous.

In spite of having a degree in Commerce, Iyer decided to study Carnatic music and Hindustani classical music. His career has just looked forward from then on.

He got recognition from A.R. Rahman in the reality talent show which was called Channel V’s Super Singer.  His beautiful rendition of Roobaroo, which was an A.R.Rahman composition for the movie, Rang De Basanti, won his a lot of accolade. He went on to win the national award for the Best Male Playback.

He then worked on a number of projects including Raanjhaana and Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na and a number of praiseworthy Tamil projects.  The former is a story about a boy who fell in love with a girl since his school days whereas the latter is a love story again between two friends who realise that they actually love each other towards the climax of the movie. He has been appreciated for his work with the R.D. Burman award for Best Male Debut which is a very prestigious honour in the country.

He is also the vocalist in Mumbai based fusion band that goes by the name of Dhvani.

Leo John Paul is a film technician in the field of editing and has over a decade of experience. This film editor of Tamil Film industry has earlier been associated with the making of the “Kolaveri-D song” as a video editor. Since then he has never looked back and has grabbed the attention of cinemagoers of editing many Kollywood movies one after another. Now, he is an independent film editor and has worked in every CV Kumar’s film productions till date.

Vijaya Gurunatha Sethupathi was not born with silver spoon. Neither did he have a family background that had deep roots in cinema field. He was rejected even for the role of a junior artist. But it was his hard work and continuous struggle, that made him a star that he is today.

Raju Sundaram is an Indian choreographer, actor, and director. Raju was born on 7th March 1968. His father Mugur Sundar is a prominent choreographer. Raju is the eldest among the three brothers; all the three brothers are choreographers. One is the famous Prabhu Deva and other is Nagendra Prasad. He is married and his wife name is Vasanthi. In his youth he was forcefully taken to film sets by his father to assist him. Raju invented interest in films and choreography after that. Ashwin Kakumannu is a Tamil film actor born on 5 July 1987 in Chennai. He started his career through the movie ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ in 2011. Ashwin is popular for his role in “Mankatha”, directed by Venkat Prabhu; the film is an action thriller. Initially, he worked on a print ad for Coke, but the ad didn’t come out. He also has worked on an Airtel ad with Swathi Reddy. Ashwin also has an impressive business card ‘Ashwin is who’ that features his pictures in different avatars. The first audition of Ashwin was for a role in the film ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’, but it turned out to be unsuccessful for him. Later ‘Mankatha’ director Venkat Prabhu was impressed by a short film that Ashwin had acted and directed himself. Thus, he was signed to portray the role of a cop in that movie. “Mankatha,” released in August 2011 brought critical as well as commercial acclaim with Ashwin gaining the much-needed recognition among the public. He later featured in a role of a young scientist alongside Shruthi Hassan and Suriya in ‘7aum Arivu’. He also played a small supporting role in Gautham Menon’s “Ekk Deewana Tha”. Finally in 2013,

Daniel Annie Pope is a Tamil actor and has contributed in Tamil (Kollywood) industry. His work is highly commendable. From 2013 onwards he worked in three Tamil Films namely Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara in 2013, Yaamirukka Bayamey in 2014, and Mass in 2015. He was always into acting and drama since his childhood days but, he never got an opportunity to work for theater club at school. He said that in his school only meritorious students have the chance to work in drama and acting club. So he waited for his education to finish and during the time of graduation, he started participating in theater shows.

Livingston is a noteworthy supporting actor and comedian of Tamil cinema. His work as a solo lead in the flick Sollamale, where he played the role of a low confident lover, got him much acclaim. Apart from acting, Livingston has also tried his luck in penning scripts. During his early stages of his career his screen name was Ranjan. 

Livingston is active in the industry since 1988. Sundara Purushan, Kanni Rasi, Engalukkum Kaalam Varum and Sollamale are the works for which he is known for lead roles. He penned screenplay for Kaaki Sattai and Kanni Rasi by joining hands with G M Kumar of Avan Ivan fame. The flick Thandachoru introduced him as a music composer (he had aspired for it for a long time) and director. This movie is yet to be released. The 1988 flick Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran is the first film in which he got a starring role. Initially Livingston was into singing by perfoming star shows. He also had the aspiration of becoming an actor. Right from his childhood days Livingston was a huge fan of MGR. He worked in several shows before venturing into acting. Eventually he sang a number for the flick Moonram Powrnami and Athey Manithan. Sundara Purushan, Poomagal Oorvalam and Sollamale are the successful films of Livingston as a hero. He is in the industry for many years through his sheer patience. 

The comedy of Livingston has an innocence in it. Initially Livingston was working in roles with gray shades, and supporting roles. Then only he got prominent roles. He was a fan of K Bhagyaraj’s flicks and hung around his home for almost a year. Oru Veedu Iru Vaasal and En Uyir Thozhan are landmarks in this talented actor’s career. On the personal front Livingston is married to Jacintha and is blessed with two children.

Pattimandram Raja is a Tamil movie actor and debate speaker, who rose to fame as a speaker on Sun TV’s debate talk show, Pattimandram. He was born as Simson Raja on May 1, 1959, in Keezhamathur, Thuvariman. He took a Bachelor of Commerce at the American College in Madurai and an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication at the Madurai Kamaraj University. Subsequently, he got employed at the United Bank of India in Madurai. He traveled for 15 years with Solomon Pappaiah, a renowned Indian scholar, and TV icon, who is also the moderator of the show, Pattimandram.

It's no secret that most celebrities use stunt doubles when filming particularly challenging scenes, but it's not something we always remember when caught up in the energy of an action-packed movie. In Indian film industry, particularly in Kollywood and Bollywood, stunt actors are indeed a must. 

Robo Shankar is an upcoming comedian artiste in the Tamil cinema who was noticed as a mimicry artist in ‘’Rowtrhiram’’, that released in 2011. But while editing the movie, his role was cut fully, and the actor could not get any recognition. 

Soori is a South Indian actor in Kollywood. His nickname is “Parotta Soori’ which has been derived from his Tamil movie that he had acted. In 2009, he acted in a film ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’(2009) where a scene was shot with a crew of actors, who sit together and eat Parotta by keeping a challenge who eats more Parotta’s. In this scene, Parotta Soori performed his best, so people coined his name as Parotta Soori. Basically, he appeared as a comedian in many Tamil movies. After the film became a blockbuster, he never looked back. He is doing five to six films in a year. Today, this dusky lad with the moustache look has placed him in line with other comedians like Vadivelu, Santhanam and Goundamani. He is in peak of his career today playing comedian roles and doing a number of movies with the lead actors. With his popularity reaching a new height, the actor even now demands to play a lead role in some movies. Although these movies are not yet been officially announced, we can hear the announcement very soon. He has rejected some new movies that came in his hand and want now a scripted-backing role for his comedy touch. It is believed that a film in which he would play a lead actor, a need for new heroine is all the way. This actor was born on August 27, 1977 in Madurai. When he was new in the industry, he shared the screen as one of the junior artistes and did side acting only. Later on, he got comedy roles, which had given him a good chance to show his timing comedy sense and dialogue delivery on the screen. 

He was a very busy actor in between 2011-14, that placed him with other comedians like Vadivelu or Santhanam. There was neck-to-neck completion amongst every comedians and he also got a nice space to expose his great timing comedy sense amidst talented actors and actresses, which became a good factor behind every movies. His best films are Thillu Mullu, Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara etc. Film lovers today prefer more subtle comedic performers and even opt for a slapstick actor, who can crack jokes in every second of the movies. In that sense, hope Soori will not let down his fans in his near future.

M. S. Bhaskar is an Indian actor, born on Jan 19, 1952, and hailed from Muthupettai, Tiruvavur District, Tamil Nadu, India. He used to be a theater artist and performed as a comedian in Tamil TV series and films. His method of acting is simple and is getting professional by the day. He became famous for playing as Pattabi in the TV serial, Chinna Papa Periya Papa and Selvi; and as Vakkeel Venky in the 2005 Tamil film, Sivakasi; and as Gnanaprakasam in Mozhi. Besides acting, he was also a dubbing artist and a playback singer.

Pasupathy Ramaswamy Solai is the original name of Pasupathy, an Indian actor. He has acted in different types of roles including supporting actor, comedian, villain and protagonist. He has worked in roles which were critically well received. The Tamil flick “E” garnered him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. He also got the Tamilnadu State Film Award for the film. The film Kuselan fetched him the Best Supporting Actor Award in ITFA. Though he predominantly works in Tamil films he also appeared in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. 

During the year 1984 Pasupathy got associated with Koothu-P-Pattarai, a theater venture. He worked there till 1997. He also got involved in small serials. Pasupathy’s rapport with actor Nasser earned him the acquaintance of Kamal Haasan, who gave him a role in Marudhanayagam. But the film was dropped.

Gana Bala, a famous singer and lyricist of Kollywood, was born as Bala Murugan, but he adopted the name Gana Bala himself as a stage name. Sometimes, he is also known as Anathai Bala, 'Gana Kuyil King' Bala. He was born to V. S. Mani and M. Punniyam. Bala studied law at Presidency College in Chennai after studying Botany. After being graduated, his chance at fame began when he participated in a reality TV show called Gana Kuyil Pattu. The show was aired on Kalaignar TV, and he won it. In the singing field, he has specific expertise in the Gaana genre in the Tamil industry. In fact, he is given a lot of credit for reviving the genre back in the industry. He gained a lot of success and fame after Aadi Pona Aavani, and Nadukadalula Kappala came out as a part of the soundtrack of Attakathi. He also received several nominations and won the Vikatan Award for playback singing in that movie. It was his big break and after that he has done innumerable songs in movies, albums under famous composers like G. V. Prakash Kumar.

V. S. Ragavan is a famous Tamil film and television actor. He was born on 1925 in Vembakkam Village in Kanchipuram, Chennai.  He initiated his career as a dramatist and usually performed in stage plays. In 1954, he was debuted as a film actor in Vaira Maalai and made more than 1000 films and acted in various TV serials.
