Tamil Movie Review Kuthuoosi (aka) Kuthoosi - Cast & Crew

Remya Nambeesan is a chirpy young Indian actress, whose primary focus is Mollywood. Born on January 1, 1986, Remya Nambeesan was introduced into the film industry with the 2000 Malayalam flick Sayahnam. R Sarath helmed direction for this flick. After that, she went on to work in various Malayalam films as a child artiste. Then she was seen in insignificant supporting roles including Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka, Gramophone, etc. She had worked under the direction of Sarath for three times. Eventually, she got lead roles since the year 2006. 

Amala Rose Kurian is an upcoming Malayalam actress, who has also acted in a few Malayalam television serials. Though she has only done very few serials, every role was equally good. She has done an important role in the Malayalam television serial ‘Sthreedhanam”, which is still being telecasted in Asianet.  

Her breakthrough was the central character “Urmila Chandran” in the Malayalam serial “Paadasaram”. The serial was a different serial from the usual television soap operas telecasted during the time. The story was centered on the couple “Kumar” And “Krishnaveni” in which Amala played the role of “Krishnaveni’s” sister. Her character was a negative role which portrays the female character who is jealous of her sister’s fame in her career. 

Her first and the only Malayalam movie was “Theevram”, which was directed by Roopesh Peethambaran, who was a debut director. The movie is a suspense thriller which was released in the year 2012. 

The film is based on 2 sensational murder cases, “Prathibha rape case” and the B.V. Girish murder case. The movie has a socially relevant message to the judiciary system of the country. The movie got mixed reviews from the audience. The main character was done by Megastar “Mammootty’s” son Dulquer Salmaan. At present, Amala is concentrating in Malayalam serials.

Shweta Mohan is a female playback singer in Indian cinema who is also the daughter of playback singer Sujatha Mohan. Like her mother, she also had sung in various languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. She was born on 19 November 1985 in Chennai.  In fact, earlier she was a bit hesitant to take up singing as her career. But as she sung, she enjoyed singing very much. Had not she been in singing, she could have opted for doing MBA and got settled other way. 

N Kannan is a Tamil Music Composer who debuted in 2010 with the movie Thamizh Padam. He studied at Music college even before he began his music career in 1988 as a guitarist. Over the last few decades, Kannan has created jingles for more than 600 commercials. Kannan debuted with the movie Thamizh Padam. He said that even if the film was a spoof, he wasn’t asked to spoof the songs. The soundtracks received a positive review and considered to be a memorable debut for Kannan. 

Annamalai is a Lyricist in the Tamil Film Industry. Some of the movies in which he has worked as an actor include Ennul Aayiram, which released on 22^nd April 2016, and it is directed by Krishna Kumar. Some of the movies in which he has worked as a lyricist include Madha Gaja Raja, which released on 22nd October 2020, and it is directed by Sundar C. Kuthoosi, which released on 25^th January 2019, and it is directed by Siva Sakhti. Kalavu Thozhirchalai, which released on 22nd September 2017, and is directed by T Krishnasamy. Saithan, which released on 01^st December 2016, and is directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. Angusam, which released on 09^th May 2014, and is directed by Manu Kannan. Haridass, which released on 22^nd February 2013, and it is directed by Kumaravel.

Harihara Sudhan is an Indian-Singer. He mainly works in the Tamil Film Industry. He is thinking of working the other film industries which include the Hindi Film Industry, Telugu Film Industry, Kannada Film Industry, and Malayalam Film Industry.He is a hardworking and dedicated Playback Singer. He works in the Television Industry and the Film Industry. Some of the movies in which he has sung include F2- Fun, and Frustration, which gets released in the year 2019.In the coming years, he has signed some upcoming projects and he has started working on them.

VJ Manikanda Balaji is an Indian movie editor. He was born on 11th March 1987. He is best known for his rom-com movie Nagarvalam which released on 21st April 2017, starring Yuthan Balaji and Deekshitha Manikkam in the lead roles.

V.I.S. Jayapalan is a writer of Indian origin. He is also a well-known political commentator and an actor who has acted in Tamil films. Born in Uduvil district of Jaffna in Sri Lanka, he gained a degree in Economics from the University of Jaffna and also was the leader of the student union there. His first anthology was published in 1986. After that he went on to publish 12 anthologies of poetry and short fiction.

Dileepan is an actor who worked predominantly in Tamil language Films. Dileepan was born in 1980 in Kallakurichi, a municipality in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram District. He won much acclaim for his performance in Azhagiya Theeye, as the friend of the actor, Prasanna. The romantic comedy was based on the story of four guys from different parts of Tamil Nadu during the making of a movie, and how their life changes after a woman’s entry into their life. Azhagiya Theeye was produced by Prakash Raj, and it garnered positive reviews.

Thiagarajan was born on 21st June 1945 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is a very important figure in the Tamil film industry as well as other South Indian Film industries like Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu and has contributed to their boom and modernization in many ways. Initially, Thiagarajan started his career as an actor and later progressed to become a tycoon of filmmaking, having worked in most of the fields associated with film making such as writing, directing, producing, artwork, costume, and production managing. His first film was ‘Alaigal Oivathillai’ in 1981. He plays as an important supporting character and his realistic portrayal of the character gained him another chance in ‘Malaiyoor Mambattiyan’ in which he plays the character of a forest bandit.
