Plot
Anitha is from a middle-class family. She gets a job with the night shift, despite her parents’ restriction. She attends a party with her office friends and is amazed by the IT culture. She takes alcohol for the first time. After this incident, due to the COVID pandemic, a lockdown was imposed. After three months, Anitha detected something unusual, but was unable to reveal it to her parents. What happens next?
Star Performance
Anupama is good in her role. Her expressions are fine, and she excels in emotional situations. After Anupama, it is Priya Kothai Venkat who shines well as Soumya. Nirosha and Charle are present, but they are underused.
Analysis
The theme is sensitive, but the writing is not as gripping as expected for a sensitive thriller. Though the characters Anitha and Soumya are well-written, Anitha’s parents are underwritten. The film tries to focus on the parents’ conditions in a critical situation, but their characters are shown in a poor light. Even the subplots are underwritten with a weak story and characters. The visuals are fine, and the editing is okay. If the supporting characters had been written better with strong emotions and sensitivity, it would have made it appeal better.

The theme is sensitive, but the execution is weak in certain places. If the senior stars’ characters had been written well, it would’ve boosted the screenplay energy. The film is watchable once for the performances of the leading ladies.
