Thamarai was born in Tamil Nadu, India on 10th November 1975. She is a lyricist by profession and also writes poems, essays and is also a former journalist. She is a renowned lyricist and mostly writes in Tamil. She received her primary education from Coimbatore and graduated from Government College of Technology in Coimbatore. After her graduation, she continued to work there and later moved to Chennai and devoted her time for a company as an independent journalist, where she used to write essays, poems and short stories for them.

Harini is an Indian playback singer in south Indian cinema. Harini was born on April 30, 1979, in Chennai. She is a noted singer in Tamil cinema with a career spanning two decades. Her singing career started in 1995 with the movie, Indira. She got her first break by singing for A.R. Rahman. In this film Indira, she sang two solo songs, Next year, she also got a chance to sing for a film like Indian and Iruvar. Her first rendering for Deva was in the year 1996 for the film ‘Nerukku Ner’. In the same year, she got a chance to render a solo song for music composer S.A. Rajkumar for the film ‘Pistha’. Occasionally, she did numbers for composers Karthik Raja, Mani Sharma, Vidyasagar, Bharathwaj, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, M. M. Keeravani, Devi Sri Prasad, D. Imman, Chakri.

Brinda is one of the best choreographers of South Indian cinema and Bollywood. Her name comes in the list of the greatest artist of the 21st century. Brinda through her talent and dance moves made it to the South Indian film industry and Bollywood also. Brinda has worked in the glamour industry for past 20 years as a professional choreographer. Brinda dedicated all her life to choreographing and assisting various notable actors.

Isha Talwar was born on December 22, 1987, in Mumbai. She started out in modeling, but began acting in 2012( Malayalam film). She received best TV actress nomination for her role in Thattathin Marayathu. She also co-starred Nivin Pauly in this debut film and became a next-door image girl in Kerala. She also co-starred with Asif Ali and Unni Mukundan in her next film Love Me, made by B. Unnikrishnan. She became extremely popular with her Malyalam film debut and then migrated to Telugu film industry. 

The daughter of Vinod Talwar, who worked as a director and executive producer for Boney Kapoor in Bollywood, Isha Talwar started her career in the film industry by shooting a music video with Hrithik Roshan. She began modeling as a teenager after graduating and going into dancing classes, managed by choreographer Terence Lewis's dance school in 2004, where she learned various dance forms like ballet, jazz, hip-hop etc. 

Before taking up her first break in Malayalam movie, she took a four-month voice training class, learnt the language and even learnt how to play a guitar. 

In 2013, she had two releases. Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (Telugu debut) and Thillu Mullu (Tamil debut), which received critics appreciation. After commercial success in 2013, she got four Malyalayam films in 2014, which had mixed responses. 

In 2015, her fans can see her in Meendum Oru Kathal Kathai, a remake of Malayalam film Thattathin Marayathu, which released in 2012. Isha will be seen with the debutant Gautham. 

Isha had shared screen with Mammootty, for the second time in her career in Bhaskar-The Rascal, a Malayalam film released in 2015. She appeared in a cameo role. 

Her first film as a child star was with Aishwarya Rai in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. She will pair with Dileep for the first time in a forthcoming movie, which is likely to be a cameo appearance again. She has also signed a Siju Bawa’s film recently.

Vanitha Krishnachandran is another of Mollywood’s long running actors, having featured in over 150 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. She played the lead role in several movies in the 1980’s before taking a break after her wedding. 

Born to a Malayali father, Ganeshan, and a Tamilian mother Kamala, Vanitha entered the movie industry as a 13 year old, debuting in Padai Maarinal, in which she played the role of a school girl. Her Malayalam debut was in the movie Chandrabimbam, which starred Jayabharathi, MG Soman, Prathap Pothen and Sathar in the lead roles, directed by Sankaran Nair. Her subsequent roles in the movies Eenadu, Enickum Oru Divasumand Kaikeyi made her a popular actress, featuring roles opposite Mohanlal and Mammootty, in Keezhvanum Sivackum, and Vikadakavi respectively.

She also featured in movies such as Belt Mathai, Vanitha Police, and Deeparadhana, paired along with the actor Krishnachandran, whom she later married in 1986. Among the last movies made before she took a break for her family was the movie Kalyana Agathigal, which marked the debut of actor Nassar. The Tamil drama movie was directed by K Balachander and featured the actress Saritha in the lead role, with Vanitha playing a supporting role.

She featured in roles portraying Mata Amrithanandamayi and Kaali, in her reprisal roles in a tele-series. Vidyullekha Raman Vidyullekha Raman also called Vibhu Raman is an actress in Tamil cinema known for essaying her character roles with depth. She is equally good in playing a comic actor or cameo role even which has appealed to the masses. It was in the year 2012 that gave her visibility as an actress in Gautam Menon’s bi-lingual films (“Neethaane En Ponvasantham” and “Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu”) but it was in 2014 with movies like ‘Jilla’ and ‘Veeram’, the actress became favorite with the masses.

Mithran Jawahar is a film director, who mainly works in the Tamil film industry. He was born on 8th June 1971, at Trichy in the state of Tamilnadu. Mithran Jawahar worked in the films such as Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Meendum Oru Kadhal Kathai, Uthama Puthiran, and Kutty. His film Yaaradi Nee Mohini was written by Selva Raghavan, directed by him, Dhanush, Nayanthara, Raghuvaran, and Mano Bala acts in this film, produced by Vimala Geetha in the banner of R.K. Productions and distributed by R.K. Productions, music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, D.Imman, and Dharan Kumar. This film was released in the year 2008, and it’s a remake of Telugu film Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, directed by Selva Raghavan.

Sangili Murugan or Muthuvel Servai Murugan is a Tamil actor, an amazing script writer and an equally amazing producer. Murugan is the founder as well as the owner of the production and distribution company MURUGAN CINE ARTS; one of the well-known production houses of the Tamil film industry.However, the list does not stop here. He has also done the job of a production controller in some movies. Having been born on the first of January in the year 1945 in Pothumbu village of Madurai, this man was known for his negative and supporting roles. The word ‘Sangili’ was actually added to his name after the character he played in his film Oru Kai Osai. Later on, he produced as many as 12 movies.

Vineeth Srinivasan is known to the music industry for his popular and hit song, Karale, karalinte. Being the son of film star Sreenivasan, he never had even thought of singing as a career. Na. Muthukumar is a poet, lyricist, writer and novelist, who writes in Tamil. He is famous for writing scripts and songs for Tamil films. Na. Muthukumar was born on 12 July 1975 in a small village named ‘Tirur’ near Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. His Father, Mr Nagaraj was a Tamil teacher.Mr Nagaraj always maintained a collection of 5000 books throughout his life, and after he had passed away, this collection was preserved by his son in his office. Also, to help others he has plans to open a library where everybody could access those books. Na. Muthukumar began his career with a dream to be a director. So, he started working under director Balu Mahendra for about four years as assistant director. But due to turn of events, he landed into being a lyricist. He began with writing the lyrics for the Tamil movie ‘Veera Nadai’ which was directed by Seeman.

Shaan Rahman is a widely recognized personality in the Indian film Industry due to his various talents. He is an Indian music composer, cinematographer, and singer who has worked extensively in the Malayalam film industry. He has given a lot of commendable works which are acclaimed by superiors till now. His notable credits include Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010), Thattathin Marayathu (2014), and Ormayundo Ee Mukham (2014). He was born on 30 December 1979, in Ras AL Kaima, UAE, to a well-do family. He was brought up in Thalassery, Kannur district, Kerala, by his parents. His father works in a Union Cement Company (UCC), and his mother is a full-time housewife. Also, he has a younger sister named Sherry, a doctor, and his brother, Shaheer is studying B.A. Visual Effects at ICAT.

Ajesh Ashok is a popular playback singer and music composer of Tamil Film Industry. He was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his school education from Sri Krishnaswamy secondary school in Chennai. He completed his graduation in Visual communication from Loyola College, Chennai. Since his Childhood, he was interested in Music. He started learning Carnatic Music at a very early age. He was passionate to pursue it as a profession.

Ranjith grew up listening to various types of music he stayed in a society where social-programmes were a trend. The localities used to participate in these programmes. Once, a family friend suggested training Ranjith for classical music.

Viji is a popular dialogue writer and director in Tamil cinema. His native place is a village called Moolanvanchery, which is near Papanasam. He did his degree course in Ooty, but did not complete his graduation. He left Ooty and travelled to Chennai to seek chances to enter into the Tamil film industry. His latest venture in dialogue writing is Jyotika’s 36 Vayathinile. He has also directed the hit films like Vellithirai, which has Prithviraj, Prakash Raj and Gopika. Alli Thantha Vaanam, which has Murali, Prabhu Deva, Laila and Neha is the debut movie of Viji as a director and it was a hit movie too. After the success, he started to write dialogues for films like Bala, Mozhi, Azhagiya Theeye and many more. He has worked as a screenplay writer of director Radha Mohan.

Arjunan Nandakumar was born on 8 August 1986 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.The actor stands at 5 feet 4 inches. The actor has made a significant contribution to the Indian Tamil and Malayalam film industry.

Manoj Kadampoothramadam Jayan is a South-Indian actor, born on 15 March 1966 in an Ezhava family. His father, Sruthiyil K.G. Jayan, is a famous Carnatic musician, whereas his mother works as a teacher. He completed his schooling from the Government College, Nattika. It is known that since childhood, he was much of an introvert. He made up his mind on pursuing acting as a career. His parents encouraged him by sending him to the Southern Film Institute, Trivandrum to learn to act. His professor at the Institute, Adam Ayub, later directed his debut on television in ‘Kumilakal’, a television serial airing on Doordarshan in 1988.

Singampuli is a well known actor in Kollywood industry for his performance. He was born in Theni and he completed his graduation in Engineering from Bangalore and came to Chennai to look a career in Cine field. 

He made his entry into the Kollywood industry as an assistant director for director Sundar. C. Later he got a chance to direct a film ‘Red’, with actor Ajith in the lead. Next, he made his acting debut through the film Naan Kadavul and was seen in the role of a beggar named Kuyyan which was directed by Bala. In this film he even got the chance as a co-director. His next movie was Mayandi Kudumbathar, which was a big break for him. He felt happy for doing the character Mayandi Virumandi in the movie Mayandi Kudumbathar by seeing the audience responses. 

Singampuli has even written dialogues for the movies Kannan Varuvan, Perazhagan and Renigunta. He is the director, who must be applauded for changing actor Ajith into an action hero with the movie ‘Red’. From the movie ‘Mayavi’ (which had Surya and Jyothika in the lead), he proved as a good script writer. His career started to shine more from the year 2012 as he started to do comedy roles and he was seen noted in all the movies he acted. He has a different body language to attract the audiences by doing comic roles. As of now he is concentrating more on acting field and he has no plans for directing a film.

Though Singampuli started his film career as an assistant director, he is mainly known for his stint with acting. Singampuli was brought up and born in Theni district, Periyakulam and then after doing B.Tech in Bangalore college, he went to Chennai seeking for an opportunity as a career option in films. 

When Singampuli was working as an assistant director for Sundar C, he narrated the story of Unnaithedi. 

In Indian cinema, there are very few singers and music composers who made their mark in acting too. By having the talent of music along with acting skills, one can get a great chance in the film industry like G.V. Prakash Kumar.

G. V. Prakash Kumar is the new Kollywood singer who, after earning a good name in the music industry, made his acting debut with Pencil opposite Sri Divya, but the project got delayed. His next film Darling got released earlier. Darling was a remake of Telugu film Prema Katha Chitram, which became popular. His third film is going to be in Telugu and Tamil. Telugu film titled Trisha Ledha Nayanthara and Tamil titled Trisha Illana Nayanthara will be released in September 17, 2015. The actor has signed two new films Bruce Lee and Sam Anton, which is getting ready for its shooting.

As a music composer, he already made a huge impact in Tamil Cinema. He was a vocalist on the soundtrack for A R Rahman’s score in Gentleman. Prakash made a contribution to Rahman’s numerous projects. He worked with Harris Jayaraj and sang two popular songs in Anniyan and Unnale Unnale, but he got the break as a full-fledged composer in Tamil film Veyil. His score in Madrasapattinam was appreciated by the masses; especially he cast a spell for his number in the song” "Pookal Pookum Tharunam". The composer made even Dhanush to sing for a song” Voda Voda Voda” and even recorded some songs with his wife Saindhavi.

A young brain deeply rooted in Indian music, his talent needs no mention, but when a singer, composer makes a mark in acting as a hero, it is indeed a milestone in the cine world. Very few had achieved this status, one being legendary playback singer Kishore Kumar. G. V. Prakash Kumar is married to Saindhavi, who is also a playback singer.

Walter Philips is a Tamil actor who made his debut as a lead role in the film,‘Meendum oru Kaadhal Kadhai’(2016).He was born on 23rd March in Tuticorin,Tamil Nadu. Born into a business family, he was brought up in Chennai. He completed his schooling from Don Bosco, Egmore and got his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Loyola College, Chennai. He was a cricket player until 12th grade and says that he was not interested in acting until his father started introducing him to various acquaintances from the film industry. Once he stepped into college, he started showing his interest in films and began modeling.
