, Yuga and Susan are in the cast. Though it is a debut movie, Senthil has coped up well in writing and direction. But he does not suit as a hero in this film. He is not good at a few expressions. If this role is given to some other hero, this film would have definitely gone to the next level. As he is the producer of this movie, he has taken in charge as the hero too.
The story of the Thiru Vi Ka Poonga is the hero falls in love with the girl, who is the daughter of a big shot in the city. But she did not even care him and throws him away through her words. The hero could not tolerate it and decides to move from the place. He decided not to love anyone thereafter and convinces himself that there is no woman in his life after that love failure. But life gives him a different situation and put him in a dilemma. Though these situations are very much predictable, the director has designed the situations in an interesting way. Mother sentiment is also present in this film, but it is not boring as in some of the films. A Villain is also in this film; he comes in the midway of the film. The dialogues appear quite naturally. Selection of the locations is also pleasing. The hero narrates the entire story to a lorry driver, who accepts to provide him a lift in the highway. The narration should have been done better.
Second half of the story is good and for the climax, they go back to their own village. Though there is nothing special in the story, there is a simple message in this story advising the lyouths that there is a life after the failure and they need not waste their life in worrying about their past. Thiru Vi Ka Poonga… it does not disappoint!
