Plot

The movie revolves around three generations; revenge is ultimately taken after three generations. Bobby Simha and Kalaiarasan are good buddies but eventually the latter cheats the former. Kalaiarasan cheats Bobby even in the following life. Bobby had gone through enough of it and finally outright revenge takes place after two generations.

What’s there?

Cinematography of Ravindranath Guru Ravindranath Guru is a cinematographer from the Ta >> Read More... is excellent.
The first few scenes will appeal to the audience.
The beautiful places shown in the second half are indeed a treat to the eyes.
The music and BGM of Achu Rajamani Achu Rajamani belongs from a musical family backgr >> Read More... are commendable.
The director has done a wonderful work in maintaining difference between the different periods.

What’s not there?

The screenplay is not up to the mark.
San Lokesh’s editing could have been much better.
One needs to observe carefully to understand the essence of the movie.
The second half is quite dragging.
The violence in the movie sometimes tests your patience.
The director seems to have put in several aspects just in one movie. This may confuse the viewer.

Star Performances

Bobby Simha is a known face now in Kollywood, thanks to his exemplary performance in Jigarthanda. He is seen beating hooligans and shouting at the full decibel of his voice. Bobby has understood what works in the commercial level and has given his best. As for Kalaiarasan he has the shades of Kollywood baddies but nevertheless does a good job. He would surely get the ire of the audience;his body language suits that of a villain.

Reshmi Menon Reshmi Menon is a promising Indian actress hailing >> Read More... has proved her acting prowess in earlier films but in Urumeen she doesn’t have scope to perform. She doesn’t even have to show her glamour quotient and is pitiably wasted. All the same, she looks pretty.
