Plot

The film follows the life of three people in their mid-twenties- Shiva, Aishwarya & Karthik. Shiva is a TV mechanic living an everyday life in his colony. But his life changed after taking a photo with the local MLA. He wanted to tie the Flexi and show off his reach. He faces many challenges along with his friend for Flexi. But someone steals it. Aishwarya and Varun are lovers, but Aishwarya is afraid to tell her about her love life. At the same time, Varun suspects that she is pregnant. Meanwhile, her family is searching for her bride. This leads to a clash between Varun and Aishwarya. Karthik is an alcohol and ganja addict because he failed in life. He even grows cannabis plants at home. But somehow the police come to know about it and try to arrest him. So, he runs away. His father is arrested by the police on his behalf and waits at the police station for his son to come. What is the end of these three stories? What is the change in the lives of these three? The rest of the story tries to unfold the answers to these questions.

Star Performances

Suhas being the stand-out performer from the star cast gives a phenomenal performance as Shiva. He perfectly suits for the part of a middle-class guy. Ruhani Sharma delivers an equally good performance as Aishwarya. Her body language and expressions are on point. She undoubtedly has a bright future as an actress and her acting potential needs to be utilized. Karthik Rathnam does a decent job as a drug addict and Viraj Ashwin is authentic as the love interest of Aishwarya in the film. Analysis

Praveen Kumar VSS tries to depict the current societal trends among individuals through this film. He ridicules the hypocritical people and tells us that if we stop blaming others and give them a chance, change will happen. He shares an anthropology of three different human evils with the help of three different characters, one is the hunger for fame, other is the fear of failure, and the last on is the desire to make one’s influence. But this beautiful point is adapted in an outdated manner and has nothing novel to tell. The biggest drawback of the film is the lack of clarity regarding the behavior of the main characters and how these characters are shown in the film lacks a compelling approach and looks jaded. The dialogues of the film are decent. The film’s screenplay fluctuates up and down as the story proceeds. The first half started high but lost momentum as the story moved forward. The conjugation of the story of these three characters is also poorly executed. The overstretched second half with many boring scenes leads to a climax without any proper motive. The presentation of the film is exciting, but the narration is where the film lacks. The background score by Ajay Arasada is acceptable in parts, but nothing significant. The neat and beautiful cinematography enhances the viewers’ watching experience. The editing could have been crisper, especially for the second half. The production values of the film are adequate. The director teaches that mistakes in life are inevitable, but one must learn from them and try not to repeat them in future. Without any major twists and turns, the film’s story monotonously ends. All the main characters in this movie were impressed with their natural acting. Technically, the movie feels okay.

What’s There?

The acting performances in this film are impressive.
The cinematography is neat and praise- worthy.

What’s Not There?

The screenplay couldn’t justify the story’s vision.
The music of the film is forgettable and hardly memorable.
The predictable climax and the monotonous storytelling hardly impress the audience.

Verdict

Though Sriranga Neethulu encapsulates a beautiful message, its screenplay, narrative, music, and the storyline fall short of expectations and prove to be a 2 hour long torture for the audience.
