David Weimers is a writer and producer. He is also a Cruise and Travel Consultant at Cadence Travel Management. He is a screenwriter for several of Hollywood's biggest film studios. In 1989, David Weimers was the winner of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program (for programming more than one hour) in Super DuckTales. He was nominated for the 1987 Humanities Prize for Children's Animation Category for the episode "The Brain Blaster” in the television series, Galaxy High School. Also, he was nominated for the 1990 Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program in “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers.” 

David Weimers worked as a writer in the English-language animated television series "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors" in 1985. The same year, he wrote a comedy television series, "The Wuzzles." In 1987, he wrote two episodes of the teleplay " The Smurfs Click to look into! >> Read More... ." The same year, David Weimers worked as a writer in the short animated television series “Popeye and Son." In 1988, he has written an episode of the television series "Muppet Babies" and two episodes of the television series "Alvin & the Chipmunks." From 1987 to 1990, David Weimers worked as a writer, co-producer, voice director, and story editor in the television series "DuckTales" under Disney Television Animation. As a producer, he worked in the family drama television series "The Magical World of Disney" under Walt Disney Pictures in 1989. 

As a voice director, David Weimers has worked in the animated comedy television series “DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp,” directed by Bob Hathcock in 1990. He also worked as a story editor and writer in the animated action television series “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” under Disney Television Animation. In 1991, he worked as a story editor for nine episodes of the television series "TaleSpin.” He is the story editor & writer of new episodes of  “The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.” Therefore, he worked as a writer in many television series such as “Harry and the Hendersons” (1991), “Jungle Cubs” (1997), “The Legend of Tarzan” (2001), “Clifford the Big Red Dog” (2003), “Gadget and the Gadgetinis” (2003), and many others.  

In 2002, David Weimers and his partner Paul Turner bought the high street post office after seeing it advertised on the internet. He then moved to England and buy property in the picturesque Cotswold village. He started a new life as a postmaster in Bourton-on-the-water. At the moment, he is focusing all his energies on his new role as postmaster, but David Weimers continued to write for film and television.
