Rebecca Kirshner is a television writer and producer from the United States. She served as executive producer and showrunner in the second and third seasons of “90210.” Kirshner became a savior of the CW program, according to a CBS representative. In 2011, she departed the show to pursue other creative endeavors. Freaks and Geeks, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Gilmore Girls are among her writing credits.

While writing for television shows, Kirshner uses the pen names Rebecca Kirshner, Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair, Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair, R.R.K. Sinclair, and Rebecca Sinclair. Rebecca Kirshner is her current pen name. She wrote hour-long and half-hour-long stories for TV serials.

She is the great-grandchild of William Rand and the daughter of Harvard University astrophysics professor Robert Kirshner. In December 2008, she married Harry Sinclair, a filmmaker and musician from New Zealand. Rebecca Rand Kirshner is a Buffyverse writer. She has written both short stories as well as episodes. Rebecca worked as an editor in the sixth season of the television show. She worked as an executive story editor in the seventh season of the series. Kirshner worked as a visual artist. She also authored children's stories in addition to her television job. In 2016, she screened her art exhibition "How to Make Love to a Cactus" in Los Angeles and Yucca Valley. Kirshner worked as an editor and artist for the Harvard Lampoon. Harvard University conferred her a bachelor's degree. She is the great-granddaughter of Olympic hurdler William Rand. Rebecca Nurse, her descendant, was killed as a witch in Salem in 1692.

In 2001, she wedded a renowned writer, Josh Lieb. In 2003, they got divorced. She married Harry Sinclair, a filmmaker, and musician from New Zealand, in December 2008. In April 2016, they divorced. She remarried Thibaut Mosneron Dupin, a French author, in January 2018. She is the mother of two children.

Kirshner's acting credits include "Listening to Fear (28th November 2000), Tough Love (1st May 2001), Help (15th October 2002), The Dairy (17th October 2000), Hell's Bells (5th March 2000), and Potential (21st January 2003)." Critics and audiences alike praised his series work. Kirshner has written screenplays for various movies, including To New Beginnings (2009), Women's Intuition (2009), Girl Fight (2010), The Enchanted Donkey (2011), And Away They Go (2009), and To The Future (2011).”
