Pranav Harihar Sharma

Pranav Harihar Sharma is a Movie Director, Writer, Lyricist, and Painter by profession. He is from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He graduated in a Master of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Devi Ahliya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. He is associated with the Indian Film Industry as a Freelancer. He has worked with agencies like JWT Delhi, Rediffusion YR, and Linen Lintas. He worked as a Film Maker in Indian Film Industry from 2004 to 2005 and as a Creative Associate in Rediffusion Y&R from 2005 to 2007. He was also a Creative Head in Rediffusion Y&R from 2012 to 2013. He worked as an Executive Creative Director at Leo Burnett from 2017 to 2019. 

He won "The Cannes Yahoo International Big Idea Chair" award for the short film "You vs. Him," where he worked as a Writer and Director. He has won more than 150 National and International advertising creativity & effectiveness awards like, "Adfest," "New York Festivals," "London International Awards," "Cannes," "Goafest, Mirchi Kaan," "Olive Crown," "EFFIEES," and "EMVIES." In 2011, he was named "Ad Club Mumbai's Young Achiever." He is a regular speaker in communication Institutes and workshops and has written screenplays and lyrics for advertising and short films. 

He won 'Best Director' for 1869 at the 20th International Children Film Festival. He was selected as one of the Fabulous Four directors in Adfest Asia. He was chosen as one among the 40 under 40 marketing communication professionals from Asia by Campaign Asia. He is the only one from India to feature in this coveted list. The campaign for Dabur India, "Brave and Beautiful," by him won "Lone Grand Pix" in Goafest in 2015. The short film "Watermelon," where he worked as a Director and Writer, was selected for "The Cannes Film Festival," "the 8th International Documentary & Short Films Festival," "The Jagran Film Festival 2015," "Indisches Film Festival 2015," "Stuttgart," and Kolkata International Short Film Festival 2015.
