Sangam Rai is a Nepali actress well known for Nepali sitcoms. She sought to fame and popularity for her role in Nepali sitcom titled ‘ Meri Bassai Meri Bassai is the longest-running sitcom drama se >> Read More... ’, which was extremely popular in Nepal. The sitcom premiered in Nepali Television in 2006. The show 'Meri Bassai’ was from serial maker Daman 'Rupakheti', who was also the concept maker.

Sangam Rai was the discovery of Daman Rupakheti and the actress not only acted in ‘Meri Bassai’, but had featured in another project of Daman Rupakheti. Sangam Rai’s next TV project was 'Jhayikuti Jha’ which was again another comedy serial in Nepali Television. This serial was premiered in 2010. Although her screen name is Sangam Rai, her original name was Chandrakala Rai. She changed her name to Sangam Rai because Chandrakala was not a glamorous name. This actress is bold and very much sexy to gaze the attention of public.

However, it is not the actress is just tempting, she also fitted into even comedy character too and became famous with Nepal region for performing the role of ‘ Lovely Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in Nepali sitcom ‘Meri Bassai’. Due to her popularity in this sitcom, she was nicknamed as ‘Lovely Sangam’ wherever she went by her fans. The actress after featuring in two popular Nepali serial went to Malaysia and was absent in the glamor world for the one-and-a-half year. She went to Malaysia to join hospitality courses. When she came back to Nepal from Malaysia, she again made her appearance to the serial and had been appearing in some video albums too.
