Arya gave an interview to the Club FM in which he confirmed that the movie has gone beyond the 20 crore mark at the box-office. He also made a statement that the makers of the movie had desired that the movie reaches a broader amount of audiences during the filming of the movie. When questioned regarding the expectations and desire regarding the entire box office collections of the movie The Great Father, Arya made a statement that he desired that the movie does a business of 200 crores.
