' said, "I had got the screening date for Thursday (July 9), however, it got postponed a day before the screening, because of the inconvenience of the censor board members."
Reportedly, the Censor Board called Dr Biju last July 8 to inform him that the screening was cancelled. According to Prathibha, an officer from the Regional Censor Board, "The censoring process is not stalled, but it was interrupted owing to the on-going legal procedures due to the Premam piracy investigation. Since the feature films needs more time, we couldn't conduct the screening amidst the busy schedule. Now, we are trying to sort things out and censoring will resume from Monday."
The censoring of the film was re-scheduled for next week but Biju is waiting for an early date. The film needs to be presented to the Indian Panorama so it should be censored before August 31.
After Premam and Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal issues, many filmmakers are worried about the release of their films. Some have already cleared the censors, but the others are still waiting with fainted breath.
