. The film is an out-and-out thriller, helmed by the famous scenarist-director, AK Sajan.
The reason why the title has been changed was not yet revealed. The duo played as the inter-caste married couple in the film and the story will revolve on the incidents that will affect their family life. Mammootty will sport different rigs for his character as Louis Pothan, a popular lawyer and follower of communist beliefs.
The ensemble cast and other details about the film will be announced soon. Meanwhile, the film started filming in Kochi and will move to various places in Ernakulam and Thrissur districts. Puthiya Niyamam is written by AK Sajan as well and produced by P Venugopal and Jiyo Abraham under the VG Films banner. The film is slated to release on Christmas 2015.
