, is now a lady. And she is all set to get knotted this August and will have an extended family of singers and performers. The actress will be engage to Rinku Tomy, the brother of playback singer

, on August 23 following by a wedding ceremony on August 30. Both events will take place in Kochi.
According to Mukta, the wedding is an arranged one and their mothers have been close for some time. The family of Rinku understands that she comes from the showbiz industry and this makes her the happiest. Initially, the wedding was planned for next year, but later changed it to this year.
The actress wanted her marriage to be a simple one and celebrate a traditional Christian outfits and customs. She shared that their wedding was already fixed but they are yet to finalize many things. She is thinking of wearing chatta and mundu and includes some simple and traditional jewelries and hair style. She said, “For the engagement, I might wear the traditional Kerala set mundu, as it's happening during the Onam time. I guess Rinku is also planning on an all-white attire for the functions.”
Rinku is also supported of her career and she gets thrilled about it. She adds that even after her marriage, she will still be active in dance shows and films, if there is a good opportunity that will come her way.
