Portions of the movie were shot in Utah, and the movie hit screens on April 20, 2012. Keaton does the role of Beth Winter in the movie, and Kline does the role of her husband Joseph, a surgeon. He spends time on his selfish interests.

The couple’s relationship is in troubled waters. Just as the movie depicts a frustrated Beth, there is a sudden twist in the story. One fine day in the winter, Beth picks up a dog that had gone astray and took it to her home. Beth develops a strong bond with the dog. But much to her shock, the dog goes astray after her daughter’s wedding. So as to locate the dog, the couple seeks the help of a weird gypsy who claims to have mystic powers.

Also, few others in the marriage join the search to relocate the dog. A cop also comes into the picture and joins the search team. A lot of emotional scenes wait to spring on the audience just as the team parts ways to find out the last dog. The director has chosen the best actors, and every one of the movie’s cast seems to have enjoyed doing the role.

The other pair in the movie is Diane Wiest and Richard Jenkins If acting can give him a reason for survival, why >> Read More... . They appear like the ideal couple anybody could imagine. But things are harder than what the couple imagined. Their frantic search for the dog is all but in vain. A frustrated Beth and Kline give up on their efforts. They decide to leave their town and board a plane. The plane meanders its way through the mountains. Much to their surprise, the couple spots their dog in the thick jungles.

Joseph comes up with and alights from the plane faking an illness. The couple searches for their much-loved dog in the forests. The couple heaves a sigh of relief when they finally spot their dog, and the family has a happy reunion. The beautiful camera work has captured the gorgeous beauty of nature. The cinematographer deserves a salute for his work.

Beth has done well the role of a frustrated wife, who is moved to tears as she loses her only loving pet. The gypsy role in the movie is just able to bring wry smiles among the audiences, and the character does not hold much fascination in the movie. The film is worth watching for its scenic beauties, and it takes you into the beautiful jungles and pins audiences to their seats till the end.
