2. Charlie Hunnam

Charlie Hunnam is a hunk English actor and a notable screenwriter. He was born as Charles Matthew Hunnam on April 10, 1980 at Newcastle Upon Tyne in England, UK to William and Jane Hunnam. His parents got separated when he was only 2-years old. Charlie shifted at Melmerby, Cumbria at the age of 12 when his mother re-married. He studied at Heaton Manor School, Newcastle but after moving to Cumbria, he studied at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Penrith. On his secondary school, the actor got expelled and so he did his exams at home. He also went to Cumbria College of Art and Design to study Performing Arts.


At 17, Charlie was discovered while buying a shoe for his brother on Christmas Eve. He was approached by the production manager of the British series, Byker Grove and subsequently, he was cast in 3 episodes of the show as Jason. At the age of 18, he got his very first major role as Nathan Maloney in the British series, Queer as Folk in 1999 followed by his character as Daz in Peter Hewitt’s film, ‘Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?’. After this, the actor went o Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. His career was expanded after bagging the role of Gregor Ryder in the drama show, Young Americans; followed by Judd Apatow’s short-lived television series, Undeclared on Fox channel where he donned the role of the aggressive, Lloyd Haythe. After this, Charlie acted on the silver screen in the films, Abandon and Nicholas Nickleby in 2002; he was also seen in the epic war film, Cold Mountain in 2003.


Charlie returned to UK and played the main lead role as Peter Dunham in the independent drama film, Green Street in 2005, but the way he delivers his Cockney accent received negative responses by the critics, and pertains it to be the ‘worst accent’ in the entire film history. In 2006, he played the role of Patric in the science fiction film, Children of Men. The actor stated that his role as a member of the group, The Fishes will be the last time that he will do a mad man role.


From 2008 up to the present, Charlie acted as Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller in the crime drama television series, Sons of Anarchy. This is a story about a famous motorcycle club in California and he played the main lead role. He was cast by the creator of the series, Kurt Sutter after he saw Charlie in Green Street. He got nominated at the Critics Choice Television Award, Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series at the EWwy Award and Best Cast in a Drama Series at the PAAFTJ Award for his performance as Jackson Teller. Prior to his appearance in this series, Charlie has sold Vlad screenplay to Summit Entertainment, where Brad Pitt is the co-producer of Plan B Studios. The film was directed by American film and music video director, Anthony Mandler and will converge on the life story of Vlad, The Impaler. Charlie got the story from the locals in Romania while doing the film, Cold Mountain. Charlie stated that he was forced to sell his script since he did not work for the whole 18-months and got broke and that if he did not sell it, he would have to sell his house and go back to Britain with his mother.


In year 2011, he also played as Gavin Nichols in the drama-thriller film, The Ledge. Later, he essayed the role of Frankie in the 2012 Indie film, ‘3,2,1…Frankie Go Boom’ along with his co-star in Sons of Anarchy, Ron Perlman. Charlie stated that doing the scenes with Perlman was the best and funniest filming day he ever encountered in his career. From the same year, Charlie acted as Jay, an ex boxer who just came out from the prison in the crime drama film, Deadfall. He was also starred in the box-office hit film, Pacific Rim, under the direction of Guillermo del Toro. The film has a grossed $411-Million internationally. Charlie received the Best Global Emerging Actor award at the Huading Award for his character as Raleigh because of the success of the film in the Asian markets.


Charlie was married to Katharine Towne from which he met in 1999 during the audition for Dawson’s Creek. They dated for four weeks and got married in Las Vegas. In 2002, the couple had a divorce. Charlie is currently in a relationship with Morgana McNelis, a jewelry designer.

He became critic’s most appealing actor and one of the “Sexiest Men Alive” as he consist of “The Boy Next Door” image in the movies he played. He was born Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson on May 13th 1986 in London, England. He was a model, talented musician, film producer and talented actor. He first appeared in the 2004 movie “Vanity Fair”, followed by “Ring of Nibelungs” a TV-film, and appeared as Cedric Diggory in the movie “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” As Diggory, he appeared to Harry as an elder student of Hogwarts where he team-up in winning the cup. In the climax of the story, Harry got entangled with Diggory in the grave of Voldemort’s ancestors and got killed and transported back by Harry using the goblet as a portal.
