Alex Heffes is a British-born film composer. He was born in Buckinghamshire in 1971. Heffes has produced works which have won Oscar and BAFTA Awards. Apart from composing for films he has featured in jazz club scenes. Heffes started school in Buckinghamshire and later joined the Oxford University. He graduated from Oxford University with Honours. He was a first class student in his college days as he passed out with a first class result from the university. Heffes started his professional career by playing the keyboard. Simultaneously, he wrote and arranged commercials. He has also featured on TV with his band.
