1. Priyanka Chopra
Born on 18 July 1982, Priyanka Chopra is an established actress and ex Miss World. She is also a talented singer. She is one of the richest actresses of Indian film industry and is a celebrated diva of Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra is bestowed with numerous credits; she has won the Filmfare awards 4 times and National Award once.
Born in Jamshedpur, Priyanka’s parents were doctors in Indian Army. It was during the year 2000, that this actress stepped into the Femina Miss India contest and from then on her journey to success is indeed commendable. She was the runner up in the contest and eventually won the Miss World title in 2000. She made her entry into films through the Tamil film Tamizhan. Later she was offered roles in Hindi films and a couple were box office hits during her initial stages. The 2004 thriller Aitraz gained her the much needed appreciation as she earnestly portrayed the role of a seductress. Then she acted in Krrish and Don which were successful.
Later she had her share of flops, but that was compensated by her portrayal in the 2008 film Fashion, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. She went on to play unconventional roles and gained acknowledgment for her all-round acting. Chopra had a brief stint with stage shows and she had also penned for newspapers. She is also a good singer and her first single was released during 2012.
Priyanka’s philanthropism is very well known and she supports child rights by being the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights. Whether it is girls’ education, women’s rights or environmental issues Priyanka voices her opinion. Chopra has a passion for penning short stories and poems. This diva has 11 awards to her credit. She is the only Indian to represent India in U.S. for a charitable cause. Priyanka has in fact proved that beauty queens are not just glam dolls; they are also talented.

Tani Basu is an Indian director. She worked for the Hindi film industry. She is known for her work in Bollywood movies. Tani worked as the writer in Barfi, as a producer in Detective Jagga, and as a director in Stories by Rabindranath Tagore. Barfi is a comedy, drama, romantic movie which hit the theatres on 14th September 2012. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film was a big hit in the Indian cinemas.

She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

At the same time, she also played as a stand-up comedian in Kahani Comedy Circus Ki with Kapil Sharma under Sony TV, where they both won. Kapil is her on-screen husband in the TV series, Comedy Nights with Kapil. She played the role of Mrs. Bittu Sharma, who always get insulted because of her oversized lips and appears with random appearances. Even though she only has short scripts in CNWK, being the ‘Bade Honth Wali’ makes the comedy show more exciting.
Sumona was also a contestant in Miss Mumbai 2005, 2nd runner up in the Times of India Mr. & Miss Perfect 2004 and a finalist in the Streax Savvy Cover Girl Contest in 2006.
8. Anurag Basu
Anurag Basu is a jack of all trade Indian film/television director, screenwriter, actor, and producer. Initially starting his career in television in 1993 making his name common in the Indian household. Basu moved to directing films for the big screen in 2002-2003 and has various hits under his belt since.
Born in an upper-middle class family in Bhilai to award winning theatre artists, Deepshikha Basu and Subrato Basu, Anurag had the passion for theatre in his blood. He initially wanted a career in engineering and was admitted to Jabalpur Engineering College. but dropped out after some time. He went on to complete his BSc degree in Physics from University of Mumbai. During his years in university his passion for cinema drove him to work and assist in numerous level in the television and film industry.
In his mid-twenties Basu began his career on the set of popular show Tara working as an assistant director. He went on to direct various serials such as X-Zone and Saturday Suspense both of which are thrillers. Basu was set to make his directorial film debut with Kucch To Hai but left half way through the production and was replaced. He then worked with Mahesh Butt’s production company and directed Saaya and Murder. He directed the critically acclaimed, Barfi starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. The film received 13 nominations at the 58th Flimfare Awards and took home 7 including Best Film. He is set to release Jagga Jasoos later in the year which is a romance-comedy starring Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor.

Most famous for his songs in Aashiqui 2, Arijit Singh has established himself as a prominent playback singer and music programmer. He was the runner-up in Fame Gurukul, a singing competition, in 2005. He then went on to win another singing reality show, 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil.
Born in 1987 in West Bengal, Arjit was trained in classical music by his aunt and mother. He had a passion for music from an early age and his parents decided to get him a professional trainer, Rajendra Prasad Hazari for classical music and Dhirendra Prasad Hazari to train him at tabla. His teachers encouraged Arijit to try out for Fame Gurukul in 2005 and chose to promote the Indian classical music genre.
Pritam Chakraborty gave Arjit a chance and signed him for three films; Crook, Golmaal 3, and Action Replayy. He made his debut singing “Phir Mohabbat” for Murder 2 in 2011. This kickstarted his career as a playback singer and led to him singing songs such as; “Raabta", “ Duaa", and “Phir Le Aya Dil", earning nominations for the latter two in Mirchi Music Award With the release of the hit song “Tum Hi Ho” Singh became a common household name. The song helped him win nine awards from various award shows. He has since sung.

Recently he played cricket for team Bengal Tigers in T20 match in the Indian Celebrity Cricket League.
