Hindi Movie Review Lakshya - Cast & Crew

Reema Kagti is an assistant director, director and writer. She is known for her work in mainstream Hindi cinema. She has directed a few noted movies such as ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’ (2007) & ‘Talaash’ (2012). She also worked as an assistant director in other movies such as ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ (2001), ‘Lakshya’ (2004), ‘Lagaan’ (2001), ‘Armaan’ (2003) & ‘Vanity Fair’ (2004). She belongs to ‘Assam’ and was born in the capital of the state ‘Guwahati’. She completed her graduation from the ‘Sophia College’, Mumbai and after that she aimed at making a career in the world of entertainment.

Zoya Akhtar has now become a household name prominently known for her movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara as the most entertaining director. She is just three films old in the industry, but she earned applauses for her work; she bagged Filmfare award for best director in movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She was born on 14th October 1972 to industry’s most renowned writer, poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar and screenwriter Honey Irani. She had her schooling at Maneckji Cooper and completed her graduation at St. Xavier’s College.

Ambika Hinduja is a Bollywood film producer who is well known in Bollywood with a film like 'Teen Patti' that starred Ben Kingsley, Amitabh Bachchan, R Madhavan and Raima Sen in stellar roles. The film directed by Leena Yadav received a mixed response and it did not fare too well at the box office.

Nandini Shrikent has a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Communication Media (SCM) from Mumbai. Like most of the Casting Directors, Nandini joined the profession coincidently and in her case, it was Zoya Akhtar who played the role of giving Nandini a chance to explore as a Casting Director. Nandini had started as an Assistant Director but later, made a shift to Casting. She still assists the Directors and is well known in the Bollywood industry. Nandini is in this business from considerably a long time but it was that one internship she recalls, under Govind Nihlani in Takshak which helped her to make right choices in Bollywood. 
Nandini was responsible for casting the entire cast for her first ever project for Farhan Akhtar’s Lakshya. It was her first gig and she had to cast all the soldiers in the movie who were about seventy. She took this up as a challenge and the results obviously paid off. She claims that most of her movies that she worked as a Casting Director has faired well in the box office with few exceptions like Luck By Chance but she still stands proudly about her choice of actors. 
She explains the process of Casting as reading the script ,discussing with Director, getting an idea of what the Director wants and begin taking auditions. Her suggestion to the newcomers is to have patience and perseverance. She advises them to practice every day and insists on keeping it neat and natural with an optimistic approach to the whole ‘getting the big break’ scenario. 
Nandini is seen working closely with Excel Entertainment. She is responsible for successful and eye-catching cast in movies like Dil Dhadaknedo Do, and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She was much appreciated for her casting in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do, for having wonderful and a long line of the cast which included Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma and Ranvir Singh. 
Nandini has also done some projects for Dharma Productions for Karan Johar as Casting Director and cast for Student Of The Year among others. She started with Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham as AD with Karan and she was successful with all her projects with Dharma Productions. However, it is said that Nandini was in long search of a new face, a new talent for Students Of The Year, and Karan Johar came into the picture and it was him who brought up Alia Bhatt and suggested her for the female lead. 
The honor of casting for the infamous and Oscar-winning movie Life Of Pie is credited to Shruti and her skills over the years and her knack for finding the right ‘fit’ was clearly visible. This gives Nandini that edge of working with Bollywood and Hollywood. She has experience in casting a couple of Hollywood films and also sought after for advertisements and Hindi serials for television. This is one versatile persona who kicked off her career in early 2000 and recently completed her latest project Basmati Blues and The Valley. Having a Casting department in a movie house reduces the burden of finding the actors for each role considerably says Nandini. 
Nandini seeks perfection in her line of work and she is irked if she does not get the right actor even if it is for a supporting role in casting. She believes that her job is the most important one as she is the connecting medium between the roles (Director’s vision) and the actors and it is her search for perfection that has got her going strong in the industry. She is a calm person on most of the days and with patience, she gives the opportunity for the actor to take the audition and read the lines. She strongly feels in not giving up until she gets a perfect actor. 
This forty-year-old actor is married to NH10 actor Neil Bhoopalam (33) in 2013 and is said to have a happy life with him. Neil and Nandini were dating for quite long and they got hitched accordingly. Though there were talks about the age gap between the two, it did not seem to bother them. He journey continues with several projects in hand and she wishes to direct one day. 

Nitya Mehra is a female film director to make her presence felt in Bollywood. In the male dominated world where only male directors had often taken a huge share so far in the field of direction, Nitya manages to climb the ladder slowly, Currently, Nitya is also one to create a feature film named ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ and experiment with casting of Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra. Producer of this movie is Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Sunil A Lulla. The film ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ is expected to release in September 2016 and Nitya shares her position as a co-film director along with Sri Rao. She made her directorial debut on new project ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ with Excel Entertainment in 2015.

Zarina Mehta is the maiden name of Zarina Screwvala. She is an Indian Producer. She was born in the year 1961 in the city of Washington D.C. in the world-dominant country United States of America. Along with her family, she moved to India at the age of eight. She completed her schooling from an all-girls school called J.B. Petit School for Girls. She graduated with a degree of Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the esteemed St. Xavier’s College which is situated in Mumbai. She did her post-graduation from Mumbai’s Xavier’s Institute of Communications.

Alka Yagnik is a very popular playback singer of the Bollywood film industry. She was born on March 20, 1966. She has been working in the Hindi film industry for three decades. She had bagged seven Filmfare awards out of the thirty five nominations at the Filmfare awards. It was for the best playback singer award category. Her singing is quite beautiful and she was felicitated by many icons. 

She came to the Bollywood industry as a singer at her early age. This gave her a lot of experience and she groomed herself as a consistent and successful singer. Alka Yagnik's songs were listed more than 20 times in the “BBC's “Top 40 Bollywood Soundtracks of all time”. Alka Yagnik was born in Kolkata on 20 March, 1966 to the Gujarati-Hindu parents. She started her singing career at the age of six while she had sung the song for the All India Radio, Kolkata. 

She came to Mumbai at the age of 10 as a child singer. She had sung 2482 songs in 1114 films as of date. Alka Yagnik has a soothing voice that manifests the song even better. She is the fifth most successful and prominent singer of Bollywood cinema. Her career in Bollywood has been more than three decades and she had pulled out pretty good in the duet numbers. She is a classically trained singer who had profound knowledge in it. Alka Yagnik had won a lot of awards in the prominent ones like Zee Cine Awards, Star screen awards, Filmfare, IIFA awards, Bollywood movie awards, etc. Alka Yagnik had been highly rewarded for having won a lot of Filmfare awards and got the maximum number of nominations. 

In the hundred years of Hindi cinema function, Alka Yagnik's song “Taal Se Taal Mila” from the movie Taal was voted as the best song of the century. This had been done by Fever 104, , Hindustan Times and DesiMartini. She has been active in the Cinema industry since 1980.

Sadhana Sargam is a playback singer of Indian cinema who predominantly now sings in South Indian and Bengali films. She debuted in Bollywood as a singer and has done playback singing in many Hindi films. She had initial training under her mother Neela Ghanekar, who was a classical singer too. Born as Sadhana Ghanekar in Mumbai on March 7, 1974, she changed her name to Sadhana Sargam on advice given by Kalyanji Anandji, who had promoted her singing career. 

Vaibhavi Merchant is one of the best choreographer of Indian Film Industry. She was born on 17 Dec, 1975 and granddaughter of legendary dance master B.Hiralal. She trained under the guidance of the Late Sushree Madurita Sarangat the age of 5. She learned Bharatnatyam from Shri Rohinton Cama, Western Classical from “Martha Da Cunha”and kathak also by completing Arangetram at the age of 17 which is the end of formal training. ​Dhol Baje from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” was her first solo choreographed song which led her to won National Award for the same.

She started her career as a Heroine in South Indian movie ‘Snehapoorvam Anna’ but later moved as an assistant choreographer with her uncle chinni Prakash

Her choreography is versatile which always create new dance forms. Songs like “Kajra Re” from “Bunty Aur Babli” (2005) received several awards. 

Devdas (2002), Fida, Dhoom, Baghban, Ek Tha Tiger and Aaja Nachle are some of the movies that showcased her talent by creating contemporary and classical dance modes.

Apart from choreography, she was seen on the television as the judge on popular dance shows which are Nach Baliye 3, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 3), Zara Nach Ke Dikha 2, and Just Dance.

Shilpa Makhija is a costume designer and stylist in the Indian film industry. Shilpa lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra and has her costume designer parlour, Shilpa Makhija’s Work. She began her work in 2004 and is still doing it today. She has primarily appeared in Hindi films and television shows. Shilpa was the costume designer in the movie Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013. This film starred Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, and Bhuvan Arora. It was a popular film and earned Shilpa a lot of fame. Other than this, Shilpa also worked in Hichki, the Rani Mukherjee film in 2018, Haseen Dilruba, Qaidi Band (2017), Dawaat-e-eIshq (2014), Ishaqzaade (2012), Do Dooni Chaar (2010). Shilpa also worked as costume director for Lakshya in 2004, a Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinda in the lead role. 

Lillete Dubey is an Indian theater personality who has also featured in various Bollywood and British films. She was born in Pune to Govind and Leela Kiswani. Her father named her Lillete as a faux-French derivation of her mother’s name Leela, and she never had an affinity for her name during her childhood. She attended a Parsi boarding school, “Rustoms” and also went on to change various schools due to her engineer-fathers regional postings.

Shabana Azmi is a film actress of Indian origin and social activist. Shabana was born on 18, September 1950 in Hyderabad. Her father, Kaifi Azmi was an Indian poet while her mother Shaukat Azmi was a stage actress for the Indian People’s Theatre Asociation.

Preity, also known as Preity Zinta is a famous Actress of Bollywood and Tollywood. She was born on 31 January 1975 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. When she was 13 years old, her parents, Durganand Zinta and Nilprabha were involved in a car accident due to which she lost her father. Her mother managed to survive, however was bed ridden for 2 years as she was injured severely. 

Ratna Malay is an Indian actress who has predominantly worked in the Hindi film industry. She is well known for three of her films, Lakshya(2004), Black Widow: A Land Bleeds(2017), and Szoya The Black Widow(2017). In the 2004 film Lakshya, she played the role of Sapna, and in the 2017 film Black Widow: A Land Bleeds and Szoya The Black Widow, she played the role of Zoya. The movies were written and directed by Dinkar Rao. It revolved around the life of a widow named Zoya, who served as a prostitute post the riots in Mumbai and found herself increasingly alienated in a state of discrimination between gender, class, caste, and religion.

One of the most recognized young director of Indian cinema. In fact, he is the most versatile person in the industry as of now. He is Farhan Akhtar, a film director, actor, singer, writer, producer, screenwriter everything you name it, he has it. Son of the famous writer Javed Akhtar & actress Honey Irani was born on 09 Jan, 1974 in Mumbai. 

As he was growing, he found the film industry around him. At home, the atmosphere of arts, literature influenced him to become creative man. He did his schooling from Maneckji Cooper & Graduated from HR College, Mumbai. After then, he started his career in films, first as assistant director & then director. His first directorial debut was Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 which received critical acclaim as well as commercial success. After then he did not see back & made other movies like Lakshya in 2004, Don in 2006, Rock On in 2008. He got two national awards, one for Dil Chahta Hai & another for Rock On for direction & production subsequently.

He directed a 12 min short film named Positive, 2007 based on HIV-AIDS, to create awareness about the problem. He did sing for Rock On which showed his versatility. He has also launched a social campaign named MARD – Men against Rape & Discrimination.

Ayesha Sood is an Indian film industry director, photographer, and editor. She is best known for the movie ‘Cherry on the top’. She has written, directed and produced this film.

Karan Malhotra, a renowned director in the Indian Film Industry, Bollywood was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is also a screenwriter and a writer. The short film was presented by Neeraj Panday and produced by Shital Bhatia. The story revolves around an innocent boy. On the death anniversary of his grandfather, he gives food and donation to a Pandit. Then he goes to a mosque, where his innocent question impresses the Molvi, who agrees to take the food. It stars Kumud Mishra, Kabir Sajid, and Manasi Parekh. The short film Laddoo’s script was written by Pankaj Chaturvedi. Actually Sameer and Kishore Sadhwani met with Pankaj in 2013, where Pankaj narrated the short film story to Sameer and Kishore Sadhwani, they also loved the subject of the short film. Then they never had a chance to meet Pankaj after that. But Sameer gave the credit of writing an amazing story to Pankaj.

Shawn Arranha is an Indian Director. He has worked only in the Hindi Cinema. He has completed his studies from different cities. Major part of his childhood was spent in the hill stations of northern India. In the year 1998, he joined the St. Joseph’s College which is in the hill station of Nainital. He studied there till the year 1993 and completed his degree in I.C.S.E Board. In the subsequent years, he moved to Mussoorie, to pursue his studies further. In Mussoorie, he studied for two years until 1995 in St. George’s College to attain his degree in I.S.C. Following this he did his Bachelor’s in Commerce graduation from St. Andrew’s College. Ritesh Sidhwani was born in Mumbai on January 1, 1973. He had no formal education on filmmaking, yet he turned himself as a producer of Bollywood films and runs Excel Entertainment (an Indian film studio) in Mumbai, which was jointly created by Javed Akhtar’s son Farhan Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidhwani in the year 1999. So far the duo had released 14 blockbuster films under Excel Entertainment banner. 

Born in the city of Mumbai to a family of Parsi religion, Rohinton Soli Screwvala is an Indian philanthropist, entrepreneur, CEO, and founder of UTV Group, which included Bloomberg UTV, UTV Software Communications, etc. Since school time Ronnie had an interest in films and theater. He also acted in some skits in Bombay theater like Alyque Padamsee and Pearl. But he did not like working for others, so his stage career ended as he wished to initiate his business. After that, he moved to the University of Cambridge to pursue his masters in Social and Political Science. He worked with Deepa Mehta as her assistant in the production and preproduction for her feature film ‘Water,’ which nominated for Oscar. He was the creative assistant at Bharatbala Productions, Mumbai. He was one of the three writers of India’s first Netflix Original series ‘Sacred Games.’ He has directed and written two short movies, namely ‘Sukrit’s Sundays,’ and ‘Shanu Taxi.’ These movies were presented in more than 20 International festivals. His first feature film ‘Sebastian Wants to Remember’ was one of the finalist movies for the 2010 Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles’ Film Fund.   

Javed Akhtar is an Indian poet, lyricist, film scriptwriter from Bellwood. He is best known for teaming up with Salim Khan. Javed Akhtar came to recognition as a scriptwriter duo of Salim-Javed. Salim-Javed was instrumental in making of Amitabh Bachchan the superstar and 'angry young' image in Indian cinema, While Salim had ideated stories, Javed used to write the dialogues. Javed Saab used to write in Urdu, which was written in Hindi by some assistant writers. In his initial days, Javed was an assistant to Urdu writer and film lyricist Kaifi Azmi. Later, he married Kaifi Azmi’s daughter, Shabana Azmi, after divorcing his first wife, Honey Irani. Javed had married Honey Iran while he met her during the making of Seeta Aur Geeta.

Karan Kashyap is an Indian Filmmaker who worked as a Writer & Director in films and Creative Director on Television. From childhood, Karan Kashyap had an interest in Cinema. Karan Kashyap completed his education from Barkatullah University in Bhopal and then learned acting and direction by working as a theater artist. Later, Karan Kashyap had started a group called Yuva Pravaha Natya Manch, which won the national award in Indore Youth Fest in the year 2001. Karan Kashyap debuted as an assistant director for Jayein Kahan, which is a television serial aired in DD1.​

Andre Menezes is an Indian camera worker who started his profession in 1999 as a deputy camera worker with the analytically admired film Split Wide Open. However, his first program as a head camera worker came with the 2003 film Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part 2. In 2004, he was the chief of photography (second unit) for Farhan Akhtar`s Lakshya. Through this, he has labored on films like Ru-Ba-Ru (2008), Break Ke Baad (2010), and the documentary Lampiao da Esquina (2016). His 2017 delivery involves the Fukrey Returns, a continuation of the 2013 sleeper hit Fukrey. His other delivery includes Hello Charlie (2021).

Christopher Popp is a Hollywood cinematographer who was born in Mainz, Germany. He completed his graduation from the state Vocational School for Photography and Media. He has a keen interest in the cinematography and television industries. This passion led him to work in the film industry, starting his career as a camera assistant. Christopher gained experience working for the German Television Station ZDF on various television series and documentaries. Seeking to expand his knowledge, skills, and advance studies of films and television, Christopher went to lost Angeles, California, where he completed his studies at American Film Institute. Christopher has worked as a cinematographer on documentaries in various countries, including Great Britain, Egypt, Israel, Italy, the Soviet Union, France, Canada, Libya, and the United States.

Dhimant Vyas is a Bollywood art director who worked for the Hindi film industry. He completed his animation in filmmaking at the National Institute of Design in 1995. Apart from that, he worked as an animation professional at Aardman Animation Limited for 8 months, and later joined Tata Interactive Systems for three years, from 2005 to 2008. He also worked as a creative director and senior consultant in animation and design for Tata Interactive Systems, which had its office in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Presently, he is working as a Chief Creative Director for Byju's The Learning App in Bangalore, Karnataka, from November 2020.

Nitin Rao is a famous Bollywood cinematographer. He has also worked as a film crew member, camera operator, and as other crew members. He has worked for the film industry, television industry, stage acts, and radio performances. He handles the camera department, works efficiently as a cinematographer, and as an influential miscellaneous crew. Ranjeev Mulchandani is a popular Indian supermodel-turned photographer-turned producer and now DJ. Mulchandani's introduction to modeling was quite an accident. While coming out of his college, Prasad Bidapa, a fashion stylist and choreographer based in Bangalore, spotted him and chased him down for a few blocks. Modeling came as a breeze for him and helped him make a future out of it. Ranjeev has graced various magazine covers, hosted shows, and has been a part of movies. He was a still photographer in the movies 'Being Cyrus' (2005), 'Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II' (2003), and 'Aim' (2004). Mulchandani has also acted in Mahesh Bhatt's 'A Mouthful of Sky.’ Apart from being a part of magazines and movies, he was a part of several ad campaigns too. He was rumored to have dated some very famous heroines like Aishwarya Rai, Mehr Jessia, and Manisha Koirala.

Ehsaan Noorani is one of the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio, composing of three talented Indian musicians namely Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan himself and Loy Mendonsa. He is a popular music composer and guitarist. 

Ehsaan was born on October 12, 1963 in Hyderabad, India. He grew up in a place instilled with appreciation to different music genres at an early age. At 14, he started learning guitar under the teaching of Bismarck Rodriguez in Mumbai. During the mid 80’s, he attended the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT), which is known as MI now. This became the turning point of his life as a musician as he slowly began to progress as a guitarist with huge potentials. He considered this period as ‘the best years of his life’. He went to Los Angeles, which is known to be the Music Capital of the World, and showed himself to the great musicians like Larry Carlton, Robben Ford and many more. 

Ehsaan was influenced by the famous bands of the 70’s like Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin, Wishbone Ash, Santana and Deep Purple. Since then, he became inclined and fond to the Blues; something about the genre has caught his whim and he continues to hold into it until today. He listened to BB King, Johnny Winter, Eric Clapton and Robert Ford to help him in shaping up his Blues vocabulary and become a stepping-stone to his improvisation. 

When he returned to India, he worked with coposers like Louiz Banks for several advertising commercials and continues to create trends to the industry with his captivating tunes, expertise in guitar and his cleverness in music. This led him to compose music for commercials and just before he knew it, he was brainstorming with Shankar and Loy. The trio started to compose music for films and they were known as SEL. 

Composing music for films and commercials had helped him to experiment in various music styles like blues, metal, electronic, rock and country, but his heart is still fond of doing Blues and until now, he is still performing with his band called Apostrophe. 

Ehsaan together with Shankar Mahadevan have lent their vocals to several songs, including Yeh Dil Deewana from the 1997 Bollywod film Pardes, Vande Mataram from the 2000 comedy-drama film Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi from the romantic comedy film Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge. He also lent his guitar pieces to songs made by many music directors like Vishal Shekhar for the songs Bin Tere and Sadka Kiya from the box-office hit film, I Hate Luv Storys and Small Town Girl from the rom-com film Bachna Ae Haseeno.

Loy Mendonsa is an Indian pianist, musician, and singer. He is more renowned as the member of the trio group Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, which he co-founded with singer Shankar Mahadevan and guitarist-singer Ehsaan Noorani. His career initially began for Doordarshan productions, where he composed the theme song of “The World This Week” show. Shanker also feels that Karnatak music is the most powerful form of music and he himself started with Karnataka classic which he says is the best to create a prominent base for music. Music is the thing which excites Shanker the most, and he would always be attached to it. Personal Life: Shanker Mahadevan was born in Chennai to a Tamil family but was later brought to Mumbai and was raised there. Being born into a Tamil family and later raised in Mumbai, he knows both Hindi and Tamil language but is not well versed with Tamil and Malayalam. He finished his schooling from OLPS High School in Chembur and his engineering in computer science from R.A.I.T (D Y Patil, Navi Mumbai). His wife, Sangeeta is Maharashtrian and oldest son Siddharth Mahadevan. Also, a singer, made his debut on the 2013 Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s song, Zinda. Shankar’s youngest son, Shivam Mahadevan, also a singer made his debut in 2013 in the movie Dhoom 3’s song, Bande Hain Hum Uske. Mahadevan is fluent in Marathi, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu and English.

Hariharan is a renowned Indian singer, who sings mainly for Hindi and Tamil films. Born in 1955, he is a well-known Ghazal singer. He was also instrumental in bringing fusion music to India. 

Colonial Cousins is the name given to Hariharan’s band, wherein he collaborated with Lesle Lewis. This band was featured in many private albums. Not only this, they have also composed music for a few movies in Hindi and Tamil. 

Hariharan is born and brought up in Mumbai and he is well-versed in Tamil, Malayalam, English and Hindi. Hariharan is the offspring of famous Carnatic vocalists H.A.S. Mani and Shrimati Alamelu. Known for playing the part of Inspector Abhijeet, on the longest running TV serial CID, Aditya Srivastava (born 21st July, 1968) is one of the most recognized faces on Indian television. Bhanu Uday Goswami was born on 16 Oct 1980 in Jammu. He is a renowned Indian film and Television actor. He did his schooling in Jammu. Boman Irani is a well known name today in the Bollywood industry with a strong audience support for his studied comic roles tinged with traces of villainy in many cases. His entry into the industry was, however, much later in life when he was already 41. In fact, his route to film acting was laced with diverse previous occupations. Along with his love for photography, which many people are not aware of, he had a nascent fondness for acting too, but was never very open about it. Gaurav Rana is a Indian television celebrity and has acted in a few serials and movies and has delivered some of his notable performances to us. The actor currently acting on the television serial ‘Doli Armaanon Ki’. ‘Doli Armaanon Ki’ is produced by spellbound productions and is being telecast in Zee TV The actor has also appeared and did a fairly well job in the Urdu television drama show ‘Zindagi Kitni Khoobsurat Hai’. Nawab Shah is an Indian TV and film actor who started his career with small and minor roles with nondescript characters in TV serials. He was first noticed in the serial Saarathi on Star Plus during 2004. it was produced by Neela Telefilms and directed by Qayeed Kuwajerwala. The serial was a modern day Mahabharat and the story of fight between brothers and their families and resultant disaster. Nawab played the role of Mansen Goenka, the character comparable with Dhritarashtra. It was one of the main antagonist roles and the performance of Nawab was highly appreciated. He also put up a great performance in the role of Afzal Khan in the serial Veer Shivaji.

Nissar Khan is an Indian film and television actor born on May 4, 1969. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama. He has been married to Tabassum Ahmed since January 14, 2005. He has performed in many TV shows and Hindi movies. He played a role in many TV serials like as ‘Dronacharya’ in ‘ Mahabharat’ and made his mark in ’Ram Milaayi Jodi’,'Haamari Beti Raaj Karegi’, ‘ Na Aana Is Des Laado’ and ‘Bombay Blue’ as ‘Constable Kaul’ in 1997.

Om Rajesh Puri is one of the widely noted senior actors in the Indian film industry and he was born on 18th October 1950 in Patiala, Punjab. He is one of the few Bollywood actors to act in mainstream commercial English movies. The alumnus of National School of Drama was also a classmate of renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah of the 1973 class.

He started his movie career in 1976 with the Marathi film ‘Ghashiram Kotwal’ directed by K.Hariharan. Sushant Singh is an Indian film actor and a host of television shows. He was born in Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, India on 9 March 1972. He was passionate about being an actor since his childhood, and so he joined Ebrahim Alkazi Living Theatre Academy in 1992. Known for his role of Drone in the show "K Street, Pali Hill", Vipul Gupta was born on 17th September, 1980.  He holds a degree of MBA in marketing. Early in his days, he has worked in multinational organizations and subsequently tried his luck in modeling. His enthusiasm toward modeling started when he joined the Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.
