He completed his Bachelors in Physics and went on to pursue a degree in Law by his father’s wish. He left the Law program in the middle to graduate from FTII, Pune. Resul is an Indian Film sound designer, sound editor, and mixer and recently decided to become a director/producer as well. He kicked of his career as a sound engineer for a film in 1997. In 2005 his work for “Musafir” and “Black” was widely recognized and appreciated. Since then, he has done several films including Traffic Signal in 2007, and “Saawariya” the same year.
This year, he has decided to produce his own movie. Since he will be doing the sound work himself, why not produce and direct it in his way as well? He launched his own production house Le Penta Entertainment.
His most notable achievement was his work in the international hit “Slumdog Millionaire”. Released in 2009, “Slumdog Millionaire” won Resul an Oscar and the prestigious BAFTA Award for his great work. He, along with Amrit Pritam, got nominated for the 62nd Golden Reel Awards for his work in the Bollywood movie “Roar”. He has won numerous awards on national level as well....
