James Vasanthan

James Vasanthan is a popular musician, TV host and also a judge in music competitions. James was born in Tiruchirapalli and he did his schooling there in YWCA Primary school and Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School. He completed his graduation in Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Jamal Mohammad College. Due to his interest in music, he learned Carnatic music by attending the classes in Madras University. He is also good in Western music, which he learnt from Trinity College in United Kingdom. He is well versed with few instruments like Guitar and Pianoforte too.

He is very passionate in music; yet his career started as a program host in Sun TV. He organized various quiz programs in Sun TV and he has got many fans too. Basically, he is a Christian and he released lots of Christian religious albums, which exceed 300. The film was super hit and the songs were very popular. People, who know James as a TV anchor, started to celebrate him as a music composer.

Naanayam and Pasanga were also super hits and increased the hit list of James. He composed many films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam and all had super hit songs. James turned as a director through the film Vaanavil Vazhkai which was released in the year 2015, in which music composing is also done by him.
