Mythili is a famous Tamil mega serial that is broadcasted on Kalaignar TV. The serial was aired every day between 1.30 pm to 2.00 pm. It was directed by M.Viswanath and was produced by Mrs. Karpagam Thyagarajan, Dr. Sridhar Narayanan, and Vijaya under the banner of Media Maters. Further, the dialogue was written by Balamurgan, and S. P. Venkatesh scored the music. The director also did the story plot and the screenplay.
The show is based on family sentiments and its aftermath incidents. The shooting takes place from Kanchipuram, Chennai and even extended up to Malaysia and Singapore.
