Sayantika Banerjee was born on 12th August 1986 in West Bengal, India. She lived with her parents in England, but to pursue a film course, she moved to India & also completed her education at Kolkata University in India. Sayantika Banerjee is one of the heartthrobs in the Tollywood film industry. Sayantika Banerjee started her career with Naach Doom Macha Ley.
She was also seen in Ghor Sangsar, which was released in 2009. The film "Target" was her next Bengali project.
