Nina Manuel

Born on April-24-1992 in Mumbai, Nina Manuel is a successful Indian model. Her father hails from Kerala and her mother from Goa. She switched schools many times and did her schooling abroad from Kuwait, Dubai and Bahrain. After finishing school, she came back to India. Nina held a bachelor’s degree in commerce and graduated from Mithibai College in Mumbai. Initially, she wanted to pursue law as her career and hence took admission in a reputed college, GJ Advani Law College in Mumbai. She is 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Her mother came across an advertisement for the Femina Look of the Year contest in the year 1995. Her mother persuaded Nina to take part in this competition, and she agreed. Nina then went ahead to become a VJ and host. In 1999, she had also worked as a VJ on the talk show, Late Night [V], which used to air on Channel V. Nina also hosted other programs including Nina at 9 (Zee Music), Midnite Manuel (Zee Muzic) and After Hours (Zee Cafe). She was also the highlight of Elle Magazine for five years and was a part of the list of 50 most stylish people.

Nina also got featured on the list of 100 sexiest women in the world in FHM and Maxima magazines. Nina received the Best Female Model Award and MTV Style Icon Award. The dusky beauty tied the knots with a New-York business tycoon, Luv Shah, on March 2/2010. Her wedding was a mixture of both Hindu and Christian ceremonies. She currently resides in New-York with her husband.
