Julieta Susana Gonzalo, known as Julie Gonzalo, started her acting career right from modeling. She was born on Sep 9, 1981 in Lanús, Buenos Aires, Argentina. After moving to Miami with her family when she was eight years old, Gonzalo studied acting and dance. She moved to Los Angeles, where she landed her first film role in 2002, “I’m with Lucy.”

After that, Gonzalo continued to work steadily, starring in minor roles in several comedies, including “Freaky Friday” (2003), where she played the opposite role of Lindsay Lohan’s character. “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” (2004). She starred in the “Castle,” a police drama, and as “Nikita,” the CW’s remake of the spy series “La Femme Nikita.” Her Spanish fluency helped her land one of the lead roles in Lionsgate’s “Ladron Que Roba A Ladron,” which earned one of the biggest opening weekends of all time for Spanish language films.
